I bounced off this in the first hour and even concidered a refund, but instead I took time to explore the abilities of the agents and approach it in a different way and now I'm REALLY enjoying myself.

It just really isn't a game where stealth is optional, at least not in the early game, and I was allowing myself to get frustrated over and over by superior enemy numbers and brutal combat.

But now I sneak around and take out sentries and hide bodies and infiltrate like a pro and that is very satisfying

I don't like driving games.

Took me a while to "get it" - but I think that's deliberate.

At first I thought speed was the key, and I felt under pressure to be doing STUFF and that did a lot to bounce me off it. When you realise how it works it's a brilliant game and well worth your time and money. Just invest in it a little

Early complaints with the save system were completely turned around with the thrill and rush of risk and failure. Played *generic RPG game here* as a thief and never failed a lockpick, never failed a pickpocket and never spent time in jail due to save-scumming. In KCD I've been to jail, I've been run out of town and generally I FEEL like I'm a thieving bastard, because I am, with all the pros and cons that come with that CHOICE.

Lockpicking is also fine, you just have to spend time getting good at it. You know, like you would if you'd NEVER PICKED A LOCK BEFORE IN YOUR LIFE.

Combat is hard as nails and I'm ♥♥♥♥ at it, but I've seen videos of people who are amazing, so again it comes down to a mix of personal and mechanical skill.

I've also (touch wood) only had one quest breaking bug so far, and it's one that seems incredibly common. No performance issues and no crashes.

First roleplaying game I've roleplayed in.

Great little game. Nice big maps, AI moves quite quickly for now but that's probably more me being slow. Looks beautiful and has some very nice music to chill out with whilst you create your industrial empire!

Also the dev's are very involved with community, which is always nice.

Put off buying this since release and that was a mistake. One of the best looking games I've ever seen and a wonderful way to relax between other, more stressful games.

Finding something to shoot is hard without being frustrating, the basics are easy to pick up but you improve as much by picking skills and levelling your character as you do through making mistakes and learning from them.

Doesn't alt-tab or go into windowed mode at all without a complete meltdown and sometimes I get sluggish movement speed from low frames (< 20) but given how good it looks and how rarely it drops that low it's not a game breaker.

Well worth the (winter sale) price of £20 and in hindsight I, personally, would have paid £30 quite happily.

People complaining about the DLC ATV, it's £2.50. Less than a cup of coffee.

Negative reviews from In-Game Store *THAT IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL*

This is exactly the kind of middle-ground survival/exploring game I've been waiting for. A big step up from Minecraft but isn't ridiculously overcomplicated like some of the other more "grown up" survival games.

Brilliant fun, absolutely gorgeous, a bit buggy but perfectly priced.

In-game purchases are here to stay, accept it, get over it, do or do not use them, but don't vote a game down based upon them as the game itself is a perfectly good game

Recent patch has added a lot to the game, it's polishing up nicely but it is still an ALPHA and Early Access. One thing I massively respect is that the Developers will kill an idea they've implemented if it doesn't work, and are happy to change direction based on player feedback, good for them.
