Big Wall of TEXT Warning

TL:DR Summary: Menus are more Menus making it annoying, Connection in Multiplayer is playing CS with McDonald's Internet, Combat is that of a Temu Sekiro, and the Gacha System is only for whales, so no cool anime looks for you!!! Stamina system is so bad I rather be swallowing Legos.
---
The cons of Where Winds Meet or WWM (going to use the abbreviation for the rest of the review) that I'm going to talk about consist of the UI, CO-OP connection, PvP connection pretty much the whole multiplayer experience being bad, the gacha system of this game (Now I'll get into that part before getting told it is optional which I agree it is 100%) and combat.
---
Starting with the UI it is absolutely horrendous, as took me a few weeks to finally get a hang of the menu to open another menu to get to this menu to upgrade or put a skill point into the talents tree which is absolutely annoying, and is that of a mobile game which is funny because they had their big mobile release back in December. You get used to, but all the menu hopping gets old really quick and the names they put for the editing your gear as "Develop" I do not understand why they chose the word "Develop" instead of Gear, but you can get to it quickly by pressing the "H" Key.

Now, onto the connection in multiplayer, it is atrocious and it is a complaint that has been many, many, many times by players for them to fix it, yet that haven't. I convinced a few friends to get the game after I've sunk 100+ plus hours into WWM because thought it would be a fun time playing with them and it was, when we weren't having the worse connection I've ever seen. On top of it too you aren't even able to play the story at all with your friends, you can only do the dungeons. mini games, and open world with them, but not the story quests making it just an co-op grinding session.

PvP in this game is ridiculous from the obvious latency issue and players having an obvious advantage when they live near the host of the servers. I watched a stream of the rank 1 PvPer and for the few minutes I watched and saw his opponent lagging around I just laughed and closed his stream because it is just absolutely ridiculous. Top it off too PvPers will deny the fact there is a clear latency issue and just say you need to adapt, git gud, or just D ride the game and say it is your problem you have bad internet, etc.

PvE content like the raid bosses is just as bad always feeling like you are under da water with how your movement feels unresponsive making for it to be unfun, especially when you are doing your rotation of your abilities and not coming out the instant you press the button and taking a second instead throwing you off rotation, being a healer makes this even worse I can vouch for that.
---
Onto the Gacha System now I understand you don't have to use it, it is only cosmetics, etc. etc. I completely get it don't get me wrong, but it has a predatory practice with how insanely ridiculous the buying pearls cost to purchase the currency to pull on that banner that has the cool, kawaii, waifu clothing or husbando clothing for your character you have that you want to make them look super cute or badass whatever look you are trying to go for. The chance to get the outfits you want seem to be non-existent and from looking at streamers who are whales spending hundreds of dollars on the banners and getting nothing until the very, very end before the pity comes is always when there is only single digits before pity happens or 10-20 pulls left before pity. Only time I've seen it proven wrong when not doing 10 pulls at a time is when these streams are doing the 50 pull which makes sense because you are pulling more, meaning get more of a chance to get the Gold, Gold, Gold, but it happens rarely. Even with the 50 pulls they do, they still don't get the gold even with doing the 50 two times in a row and start doing 10 at a time to try and save money when they have the last 50 remaining.

The pity resets once you hit a gold which makes sense from the business side as you don't want to lose money if you let the player base get the gold before the pity and then let get the pity. So you keep dumping more and more money into the banner till you get enough of that limited banner currency to buy the outfit you want. Sounds like a big complaint about nothing, but the drop rate for golds in WWM seems extremely low and leans more to the "House" winning more and more money from you till you finally get what you want.

Onto the super gacha weapons that only a select people have because they are the most ridiculous money grabbing system I have ever seen in my life. If you ever seen some WWM youtube videos of streamers spending thousands of dollars on a weapon you have the jist of what exactly they're doing and how ridiculously expensive it is to constantly reforge those weapons till you get the look and color you want for it. being cheap at first being 1 reforge stone, then 2 when you start locking the parts you want, then 5, then finally 10. The price of these stones costs pearls and you have to spend 30 dollars to enough pearls to buy a few rolls, to not even get what you want because there are so many possibilities in each category of the weapon that you could be spending 400-800 dollars getting unlucky trying to get the exact look you are going for from the available options. They have catered this system to the whales who will spend 400, 800, and 1000s of dollars making the F2Ps not able to get the sick looking cosmetics, and the statement can be made again, "It's cosmetics, you don't have to spend money and you are stupid, a clown, a troll" etc. for talking about the gacha system, but there are some people like myself who would like the super cool outfits, but don't want to have to take out a second mortgage on a house to be able to get a single cool outfit or make one of the gacha weapon skins look super cool.

We are onto the combat now, and oh boy this is gonna be a fun one. I think it is fun yea, but it is not good the enemies are literal sponges like any MMO game with the higher levels you go, they scale with you and just become more and more sponge like. Doing any side quests or bounties makes you fight sponges instead of having areas that are leveled based making it so you never feel like you are actually getting stronger, better gear, or improving abilities. The gear is a big issue with the drop rate being for legendary or gold gear from chests being dog water and spending days farming trying to get gold gear, because of the STAMINA system. It feels like a mobile game when you get to the end game and you log in, do 1-2 raids depending on if you use more stamina to get more rewards from the bosses then after your stamina is depleted you get to log out and wait 3 days for it to refill and redo it all over again. It makes grinding for better gear take longer than it needs to and the horrible drop rates extend it further. The real mobile game experience if I say. The boss fights are cool with having the red deflectable attacks and the gold dodge only attacks taking somewhat of a sekiro route (with sekiro only having the kanji above your head) Bosses do unrealistic delayed attacks looking at Wolf Maiden who loves to do quick flurry of attacks then decides to stop and charge up her attack like she is an anime protagonist messing up the flow of combat and the effects in combat are so flashy that it literally makes it difficult to see the attacks that are coming at you. I don't get this at all either, but when your character deflects they move to the left instead of standing in position after you deflect. It is stupid that your character moves to the side after a deflect. If you have sekiro I recommend you play this and then go back to sekiro and feel and see the difference in the responsiveness as it is night and day of a difference.

To conclude this review, just play Sekiro as it is just a better game.

Game is fun and very immersive because of the story but when you reach end game there isn't very much to do but grind flashpoints and try to do operations (raids).

I'm also giving this old game a negative review because it is constantly crashing without me finding out a reason to why it is crashing. It ran fine before but now it crashes consistently while trying to login into the launcher, crashes after clicking play if I am able to login, or decides to crash on the character screen, after I click play on a character, or when trying to load into new areas/planets and it crashes during that. Have looked up mutliple ways to try to fix it but none of them make sense. I switched to the launcher from the website and it worked for a while, but then it started to crash at the same points again. No other game has this problem on my pc and read too that SWTOR is the only mmo that is having this problem as someone had tried playing their other mmos and all ran fine with no crashing. So SWTOR is the only one that is crashing this frequently.

This is a gacha therefore it is there to get money, but nonetheless this game is a banger, I've watched one episode of the anime and stopped, and thought recently that I would try this game out out of boredom and holy fkin SH*T is fun. It is pretty mindless if you play it like a gacha game like say dokkan battle, but if you watch the races and watch the concert you get into this sh*t intense or it might just be me I DONT KNOW, but all I can say tho is it is fun and the concert songs are fkin bangers bro, I say give this game a shot and jam out to your horse girl singing a banger after she gets 1st place. 11/10 Would buy my own glow sticks for the concerts

Absolutely Recommend getting this game if you wanna play a good GTA that doesn't have a multiplayer that is Rockstar's main focus while with GTA 4 the main focus is the story and holy ♥♥♥♥♥ is it the best story out of any GTA there is. If you played this back in the day as well on Xbox 360 or PS3 it is extremely nostalgic to be able to play all 3 games again.

A problem I've found though and tried to look for with mods is the NPCs will get stuck on/in corners of cars, buildings, stairs, and doors, so you find yourself having to check on the NPC constantly and to get them to reset their pathing having to shove them in order to get them to get through or around certain things that they are constantly bumping into. It isn't just the story NPCs it is nearly all NPCs and if you are unfortunate to get Niko stuck somehow like I did you'll have to ALT+F$ in order to close the game because you are unable to cancel out the input for that action (unless car jacking). My experience of this is I shoved a NPC down and tried to buy a hotdog because was low on health and got to sit and wait for maybe 5-10 minutes maybe longer I did't count how long, of Niko running into the NPC on the ground that I shoved watching him bump into that NPC and not being able to pause, quit, or cancel that input for buying that hotdog, so I waited it out because hadnt auto-saved in a while and didn't wanna reset after buying all my guns. So pretty freaking annoying, but it buffed itself out.

I don't believe there is multiplayer in this, haven't really looked as been focusing on the story and getting all achievements for The Complete Edition, but if it was here that would be a bonus because this multiplayer was actually made to have fun instead of grinding (unless you went for the achievements back in the day, but all the current achievements you can get in the complete edition are story related, so no worries having to get friends to grind out the multiplayer achievements that's a bonus for achievements ♥♥♥♥♥♥!)

Besides the NPC getting stuck and needing help I recommend GTA 4 for the amazing, gritty story it tells, the stories of the DLCs, and nostalga of playing on the Xbox or PS3. Absolutely pick this game up at full price or on sale and you'll have hours of enjoyment playing through this old gem that still holds up to this day and even more hours if you are working on 100% the base game and DLCs for achievements!

First thing I want to start off with before buying this do not buy the deluxe edition and make the dumb mistake I did because there is nothing extra you get as of now but the OST and Artwork and this game is NOT CROSSPLAY! Very strange for a completely CO-OP game that has everything Identical, so don't expect to play this across any console friends!

Elden Ring Nightreign is a mixed bag of fun and becoming boring extremely quickly after the 20 hour mark. If you enjoyed elden ring a lot and like doing co op plus like rogue likes than this game will fulfill that for you for a short time unless you have friends to play this with (I did not and did my 60 hours solo n got 100% achievements). It is fun the first I don't know 10 times, playing the different characters, and trying to get all the different weapons, staffs, or seals, but a problem I noticed that some of the weapons are more common than others, like say I've seen Malenia's Sword more times than I have some of the other legendaries or even epic rarity weapons.

It seems like the loot pool is a massive problem of having the same weapons drop and noting being able to play with the other weapons in the same rarity. I looked through the weapons as you can see all the different miralces, sorceries, and weapons and seeing some of them I've never gotten some of them or even seen another player playing with said weapon. I saw that Placidroux the hidden boss from farum azula's miracle was a possible chance to get on a seal and in 64 hours of playing nightreign never once got to see it. Now, don't get me wrong it isn't that great of a miracle, but still maybe I wanted to give the miracle a try for a run, but because of how low somethings drop there just isn't any variety, you end up with the identical build or somewhat close build each run and if you don't get a weapon that takes advantage of the boss's weakness you'll be in for a rough time.

Another thing I noticed that does barely anything that is hardly noticeable, but does help is the relics. The relics are cool and unique don't get me wrong on them, but the problem with every rouge like has is they are RNG which is fine, but you get some bad rolls on them causing you to sell a majority of the relics you obtain and the only really goods one you acquire are from completing the rememberances of the characters. Now, I like the rememberaces relics because it rewards you for completing the story of each character, but when you are new and have no good relics and end up throwing on relics that barely do any great change to your stats or damage it feels like they aren't even worth putting on. The only other relics that are pretty decent are the ones you get from the Nightlords once you defeat them.

For a rogue like as well you don't feel like you get any stronger or doing more damage like other rouge like games out there. My best example I can provide is playing Hades and going through each room and earning some sort of reward that helps you deal more damage, has a cool AOE effect, or provides some cool affect for dodging etc. Nightreign doesn't provide those aspects as you get the same special effects every run from the End of The Day Bosses, being successive attacks for HP or FP, when walking have stars rain from above, at start of surge sprint a blizzard storm appears etc. You get the idea, now they are cool ideas on paper but playing and trying to use those passives on the Nightlord prove to be nearly worthless because you have to keep in mind of how to activate it or try to make the best use of it because of it being in a small AOE, and if you aren't the main Melee attacker having the agro those go to waste especially if you are playing a ranged class like Recluse or Ironeye.

A game play feature that I rarely seen besides first unlocking them is the shifting of the earth which is cool, but it only effects a corner/small area of the map and is completely random once it settles as the game calls it. After it settles the first time then you have to wait multiple runs until you get to see them again and if you are going for the achievement to acquire the power of each shifting of the earth then you are at the complete mercy of the RNG and hope that you get lucky enough to get the one you are missing or get one at all with how low of a chance it seems of them appearing.

I noticed as well while reading some posts about some people's complaints about Elden Ring how it feels like you are playing dark souls and the bosses feel like they are playing sekiro and after playing Nightreign (and over hundreds of hours of Elden Ring on PS5) I can agree that even with the surge sprint feature you still feel like a dark souls character playing in the sekiro world with constant attacks that are hard to time the dodge on especially when the boss is facing one of your team mates, but in the middle of its attack it turns and goes after you catching you completely off guard. This has happened to me multiple times and it isn't even during the little sequences of when the boss will target a single player for a short duration before returning to its normal attack pattern of whoever is going most damage, getting the most agro. Every character does indeed fast roll which is definitely a nice quality of life, but kind of negates having to learn each character's unique roll type, besides guardian's whose is the step ash of war, which does not work very good.

I enjoyed Elden Ring Nightreign alot at the beginning, learning how to play, manage time, (even though it seems to go by way too freaking fast) etc. New things to learn making the game feel fun, but I can not recommend it until this game gets a lot of updates that adds variety to the map, the earth shifts being more frequent, and overall actually feeling like a rouge like and not just elden ring, but boss rush. Hopefully it will come within time and they don't leave it in this state as it will be greatly disappointing if they do.

Just not a fun game, prefer playing the original trilogy over this one which are worth the money as well as investing time into modding the trilogy in order to make them look prettier or run better or etc. mods you want to add to them. Just overall if you wanna enjoy a MGS game just go play the OG trilogy that came out on the PlayStation 2.

Game is dope af bruh. If you enjoy being able to customize the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of a mech and having multiple options for whatever build you wanna do (even tho for weapons or firearms there are only 2 arms that are S tier for em), you have a lot options. The combat is fun af sliding around, dodging n shiz is fun and takes some timing if the NPC or player you are goin against is using a missile trackin shoulder weapon or hand held rockets.

They nerfed the zimmerman too so, not as aids pvp now fr fr. Melee in AC6 is also extremely fun af as the moves n shiz for them are badass af and can be a game winner or a loss if you dont know the move set of the weapon or the recovery time after doing the full charged hit.

I definitely recommend it even though the pvp can be annoying with some missile spammers, but looking to get 9 homies to get it so that can do a 9 person FFA which would be fun af and chaotic af too.

Early Access Review
Not worth the money at all bro. Literally when you get to the mountain area just end your life bro cause wolves literally are broken af with the fact that they can constantly attack like every second while you are able to be stunned and staggered. Example of this is when you are at a incline where the wolf is above you and you are trying to swing and hit a wolf, you can't touch, but the wolf can touch you. They are omega busted and don't even get started with how fast they respawn. The game is enjoyable with friends. Playing this game solo you might as well go back to minecraft single player cause you will not have any fun by yourself cause there is too much items to gather for 1 person in this game and with the fact you can't teleport metal even after smelting it, is honestly the dumbest thing ever. Don't forget that stamina bar tho cause that thing will run out faster than your allowance buying cs go skins.
