Incredible remaster of the 2013 version! I can say with 100% authenticity that I do not miss having to use Hamachi or Tunngle to play.

The new challenge mode, multiplayer, the new level designs, new characters, and more show how much the team truly cares about this game.

Absolutely recommended!

Completed the game on Nightmare just now.

Amazing game. Seriously give it a shot. Its Noita + Isaac to me. The game looks brand new from all the improvements the dev made! Seriously give this a shot if you're on the fence.

Surprisingly good. Ignore the whiny negative reviews talking about the ending and story. Its not that big of a deal. As others have put it, its binding of noita. Great game, awesome synergies, and i truly hope the dev fleshes this game out. Its just a blast to play.

Its a great game. Admittedly i dont play it much, and havent honestly played in years, but if you havent checked it out you absolutely should. Dev team is dedicated and amazing.

Game is very fun and a new premise for sure. Love the characters, the story, and the gameplay loop. Recommend this for sure, but be forewarned its only 2P co-op. So dont buy this expecting to party in the game like DST or others of the same nature.

Pros/Cons for the devs and anyone interested. Game is worth your time, some minor gripes but overall the game is super fun, SP or MP.

CONS:
1. After playing more it feels like im walking through mud most of the places. I know its survival/dont starve-esque, but the slowness of our wizards in the overworld gets a little annoying. Just feels like i spend most of my time walking to one point rather than playing.
   
   
2. Can we PLEASE get a way to sort inventory/crafting/chest items? Gets very tiring having to hunt things down in the inventory no matter how big the bag is. Manual sorting is not really a rad party.
   
   
3. Not being allowed to withdraw a certain amount from the Arcana Machine. With 2 people having to fully 100% withdraw everything and put it all back each time they both want to do something becomes a tedious dance around the machine instead of crafting. Too easy to forget to put it back.
   
   
4. Not being allowed to use a chest/machine at the same time as a friend. Having to build 2 separate bases in one area because of us having to wait for the other one to do something, is a bit weird and pace breaking lol.
   
   
5. Having to put chests next to your buildings in order to use their inventory is incredibly cumbersome. It necessitates having 6-8 chests around a workbench or making multiple workbenches with their own sets of chests. Bigger chests or allowing any chest in the hub world to be used with any machine would help immensely.

PROS:
1. Very exciting and fun gameplay loop! Dont Starve with time based rogue like challenge that stays fresh thanks to the map layouts and weapon combos.
   
   
2. Ability to mix weapon types/synergies. Oil bullets + Fire trail has been a fun one recently for example. I am not super far into the game yet but the weapon variety and bullet type variety certainly keep it fresh for what I have played.
   
   
3. Co-Op. Even though I wish I could invite more than 1 person, the co-op is flawless. Nailed the netcode imo. I have played with people in other states with 0 issue.
   
   
4. Base building variety gets insane the higher you level your book. Tons of things to choose from to make your base unique. Floor tiles to lighting, it is genuinely fun to build!
   
   
5. Overall design and feel of the game. Its very pretty, Dont Starve-esque, with fluid interactions. Nice to see a game release not in complete shambles on launch.
   
   Wizard with a Gun is unique, addicting, and absolutely worth everyones time to play! If we can get more Co-Op players and some inventory optimization i think it would be even more popular than it is proving to be. Most of the above cons can be mitigated in SP. Its just in Co-Op where the issues become more apparent. Still highly recommend this game. It is early and patches have yet to come.

Played every FROM game and didnt approach this like a new FROM title. It was ROUGH when it came out. Its a great game now.

They have and are fixing a lot of the co-op stuff. Seamless seems to work perfectly now.

Seriously, give this a shot. You can see I have played (and beaten multiple times across several platforms) the entire souls line and bloodborne multiple times.

The game is great if you dont go into it thinking its by FROM. That was 90% of these people belows issues. It runs perfectly well for me across all platforms tested (Windows, Linux with multiple distros) and is smooth. The only real gripe I have is you cant turn off invasions in Co-Op which really turns a lot of new players off quick. Outside of that there is no issues.

The gameplay is great, the builds are extremely varied, Its intended to be played multiple times, and the enemies and bosses have been toned down and reworked to feel better.

This games great and you should give it a shot. Fun solo but a lot more fun in co-op. Just make SURE you are using seemless.

After fullclearing the game and getting all achievements I can safely say this is one of the most amazing games I have ever played. I absolutely adore the scope, scale, fights, and ability to customize this game gives you.

The PVP and online community are amazing. There are some meme strats for now but damn... I cannot explain how beautiful the game is. If you have a thing for mecha, meloncholy, and loneliness this game will slap you right in the lips.

People complain the game is too easy... wait until NG++. Some of those fights took me hours upon hours to beat.

Thank you FROM for this. I cannot wait to play the next one and import my save file haha.

After the 8/10/23 update the game has been 100+FPS on high, with DLSS, on a 3060, on Linux. (Garuda)

It still needs some optimization but its amazingly fun to play! The gameplay loop and the puzzles are the best part. Youll see a lot of people mad at bosses online for their "difficulty". Remnant has always been hard and most of these puzzles you can easily beat if you dont panic haha. I can tell im going to sink a lot of hours in this game. Ive been playing Solo and Co-Op on 2 different files and im having an amazing time.

9/10 for me!
