- Artstyle, while amazing, can get annoying at times. Things blend into each other to the point of the screen just being a mash of red/blue. I found another visual that works for me but i had to unlock that as a reward first.

Game is fantastic and highly recommended. It is one of those games where you're like "Cool ill play a round" and all of a sudden its dark outside kinda games. The combat looks like its slow and clunky but when you play it, it makes sense and feels right for this type of game. Mortal Sin seems to have practically infinite replayability which is always a nice bonus.

Seriously, play the game if you're on the fence. It is amazingly done and very, very polished.

They ruined it. Back to Street Fighter 6. I knew I shouldn't have given Tekken a shot.

At first I didnt understand there is a method to the madness. I tried playing this game with my best friend a few times but we always ended up quitting due to not being able to agree on methods and ending up in spaghetti hell. This time we watched a few videos that broke down the efficiency methods and now the game is so addicting we cant put it down. 12 hours in one day.

If you're struggling with this game, watch some efficiency videos and LEARN TO BLUEPRINT! It is beyond helpful and there are an abundance of schematics online for everything you can imagine.

Play this game, or dont if you want a life.

Played many more hours locally with my best friend, but recently finished Lighthouse 15. (Highest Difficulty Level)

The game is super fun, even though it is ungodly imbalanced and a lot of runs require extreme teamwork, precision, and a lot of RNGesus blessings. Some runs, especially at high lighthouses can be come an insane battle of attrition. The game also runs horribly no matter what your build is or what OS you are on. Its just terrible on everything it exists on for some unknown reason. There are no graphic options either in game. Changing the screen size barely functions.

For example, in the Ice Area on 10-15 lighthouse, the enemies would absolutely swarm you and ruin your day. The bosses were the "Easy" part because they were consistently the same difficulty. This is still the same but they have balanced it an iota. Once you hit lighthouse 13, and get the reward, some guns become insanely OP and broken. Grapeshot my beloved. It does make for some very hectic runs, but you need some extremely OP amulets, trinkets, and ammo to win.

I still recommend this game, even though the devs took holding items between tiles away, because its a blast to play with one other person. You can pick it up, play for a while and put it down, or play for hours.

If you're here for story, forget about it, there is a barely functional one at best, but literally couldn't tell you a thing about it if you asked.

It is very fun to play, but will aggravate the hell out of you in later difficulties if you're trying to go that far. Also the achievements are for the host... so there's that too.

TL;DR: 6.5/10, would barely recommend, dont expect a masterpiece even though it could have been one. Absolutely need 2 people to play the game, solo is insane at high difficulty. Play if you want a fun pick up and play game with one other person.

Beautiful game. Compared to Bloodborne a lot and rightfully so, but this games style and combat is impeccable. Please give it a shot if you're on the fence!

Amazing game still. The seas are much quieter than on launch which is awesome honestly.

I have many hours on UWP but decided to pick it up on steam once I learned that your purchases from the microsoft store will carry over. This also means it works on Linux!

Absolutely incredible game. One of the most fun SHMUPS i have ever played. Amazing roguelike with awesome music and art style.

Cannot recommend this game enough. There is TONS of content in this game. Just keeps opening up and expanding the more I play.

Highly recommend anyone who is on the fence about picking this game up!
