never played Vermintide, but I enjoyed this game. Game was literally unplayable during the beta, but has gotten a lot better in the crashing department.

Its higly addictive and its designed to be so. This game has a great "gameplay loop", queue mission > play > check shop > check achievements/weeklies > repeat. The gearing system is designed to steal your time, you essentially wait for a good item to spawn in the shop which resets every 1 hour. They really need to add a player controlled market or some type of crafting for better gear. I've found myself not getting very good stats for days on end, its luck of the draw. Its genius yet disgusting how theyve managed to inflate their player count due to people just sitting at the shop for hours (me included).

The penances (achievements that give cosmetics) are the most pain inducing thing i have ever witnessed in a video game. The most insane ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that makes you throw your game pissing off your teammates. For example, my current challenge is to kamikaze 3 elites... Ludicrous.... there are far worse ones, such as the kill 90% of a boss by yourself, THIS IS A TEAM GAME.

What really pisses me off is the fact that there's a paid shop for cosmetics when I paid $40 for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game already. There are free cosmetics you can buy, but they are atrocious in comparison.

I'm at 1440p, all low or off when possible, and dlss is on performance. I get about 60-90 fps (yes it varies that much), this is unacceptable and pathetic. You have to remember this is a released game, the devs have specifically said its not Early Access. Fix this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥


overall good game, so I have to recommend, but will gladly change my review if things do not change quickly
