puzzles were more or less okay, sometimes lacking the challenge but overall a big improvement from the previous game of this studio

Easily the best combat out of any other DMC game, Gameplay is just magnificent and skill ceiling is super high, more you play better it gets. also its full of fan service that constantly references older games so i'd recommend playing them first.

what if we asked a 40 year old man who hasn't played anything but Call Of Duty what his idea of a survival horror game is?
his description would be a perfect match to what "Dead Space 3" is.

The game isn't horrible, but its not any good either. its just a mediocre third person shooter but instead of a war zone you're in a rusty space ship or a rusty building. "horror" to the EA meant killing monsters instead of humans, and "Survival" meant having an inventory, which is completely useless, I finished the game on a difficulty called "impossible" and not once did i have to slightly manage my items, worry about saving ammo or heals, never had to avoid enemies or think about my path, Just walk forward and shoot whatever's in front of you.
That said, in co-op we had fun and it all functioned fairly well, there even are few sequences where one of the two characters is getting corrupted so he sees things that are only on his screen which is kinda cool.

not giving this a positive review because i would actually recommend it to anyone, but because i don't think it deserves a negative review either, it just functions as a basic co-op shooter.

Very fun, unique and satisfying. deserves a lot more recognition.
Refreshing to play since its not like anything else on the market, multiplayer was seamless and had no technical issues or bugs, difficulty is customizable so don't worry if your WPM (words per minute) is high or low. Survival horror elements are done right, you have to manage your inventory, don't waste ammo or healing items, try to use your characters ability to your full advantage and stay coordinated with your friends. after playing through the entire game i want to add that its full of surprises, levels are diverse and it never feels repetitive, incredibly fun.
would highly recommend.

Writing this review after doing everything on highest difficulty, eliminating every possible target, collecting every medal, skill point, weapon and their accessories in co-op.

This game starts out really nice, it gives you a sense of freedom, map is beautiful and huge, there's a massive choice of weapons, possibilities feel endless. but that illusion quickly breaks.
first sign was when i tried hiding in a trunk of a targets vehicle and he just spawned a random truck out of nowhere and started driving it instead. after 7-8 hours of playtime you start to notice every mission has a very specific way to approach it, story important NPCs that you have to extract or eliminate don't spawn until you reach a certain point so you cant scout them out or think of your own way of doing the mission, most bases are covered with long unbreakable fences forcing you into using one specific entry point, every weapon feels almost exactly the same, only noticeable difference being how much damage you can deal to vehicles with them. on top of all that stealth just refuses to work sometimes, you can be wearing a camo suit, laying prone in a bush at night while wearing an invisibility backpack and still get spotted by an enemy who wasn't even looking in your direction. enemy AI likes to slowly migrate towards you, no matter if they have any clue about your position or not eventually there will be 50 soldiers surrounding you, while friendly AI or rebel support does nothing even after maxing out their skills. multiple missions forget that this is supposed to be a stealth game and throw a defense mission at you where you have to survive waves of enemies for few minutes, sometimes missions just fail because you didn't follow ubisofts script perfectly, sometimes you just get softlocked and have to kill yourself to restart etc.
all this and more, while it takes 50+ long and tedious hours to beat the main game with all the extra side content.

Wildlands ultimately feels like a very stretched out and heavily scripted game pretending to be a sandbox.

very underrated roguelike that not many people talk about despite it having one of the most fun gameplay loops, its very fast paced and requires a lot of dodging and instead of relying on passive items (which are still important), your main source of power here is different Arcanas aka the elemental spells you can cast, it has a huge variety of those and you get to pick which ones you'll use before entering the dungeon so each run can be mechanically very different from the previous run. would highly recommend for fast paced, dynamic combat enjoyers.

Great game for experiencing raccoon city incident from Jills perspective, many aspects that i love Resident evil games for are sadly missing. its mostly very linear and puzzles basically don't exist, but it is still enjoyable for what it has, lot of action and shooting.

Peak level design, rarely do i get to play a game with map this interconnected anymore, its just very satisfying to explore.
