Devs care about the quality and content of this game. It has seen many overhauls over the years, and now I would say this game has become what we dreamed it would be.

Very imersive pseudo-open world game. On top of this, the story is great. If you played Metro 2033, you should play Last Light because it clears up some of the plot holes around the Dark Ones and why they didn't want you to kill them.

The only negative I can say is that there were a couple missions that I had problems with, mainly because the objectives wern't made obvious enough like how to destroy the Red tank and how to deal with the bear in the garden.

All's to say: Get the whole series!

The story is very intriguing, I think I might just buy the book. All I can say is, "this is a must have game." Go on and get the series while you're at it.

Pros:
+ good plot/story
+ wide weapon variety
+ immersive pseudo-open world
+ ammo management

Cons:
- some objective aren't very obvious right away (only like 2 or 3 out of the near-hundred or so)
- AI is pretty blind compared to the original Metro 2033. Stealth is a little too easy
- plot whole about the Dark Ones that isn't covered until Metro: Last Light

Steam Deck Notes:

Even though this game released a long time ago, it runs and looks like what at AAA game would for the Steam Deck. Besides the amazing animations, my favorite part is the forgiving aim assist. It makes the game so much more relaxing.

My only complaint is that the load times do last about a minute per level. But each level lasts about 30 minutes. A small price to pay if you ask me.

The game kinda sets you off without any support. The tutorial is short and and fails to explain the key part of the game which is developing successful games. It would be nice if the game taught me how to improve the games--yes there are suggestions after developing games, but I don't know what to do with that information.

Pros:
+ Starts in Seattle
+ Has Snoqualmie and Wenatchee

Cons:
- Jeff Bezos invents zombies
- White people took over tribal land
- Original game is free online (it also basically the same game as this)

There are 711 DLC's at the time of this review. Let's assume the average price is $19.99 USD--many are greater than this value but let's be conservative here--then we can estimate that the total value of all of the DLC totals more than $14k.

Allow me to say that again. There is:

> $14,000 USD in DLC

You cannot convince this game is not involved in a money laundering scheme. Especially since it is incredibly buggy. You cannot even alt-f4

Beautiful game. I bought it when it was on sale for 80% off ($3.99), but I wouldn't stop you if you wanted to purchase this at full price. The game is very well done.

War is hell. The greatest number of casualties of any war always comes from the loss of civilian life. While no game can truly put you in the shoes of such a tragedy, "This War of Mine" will change your perspective.

Where all my hours came from:

5% loading screen
5% virtual arsenal
10% afk
30% playing the game
50% mission editor

The mission editor gives so much power to the user and--despite its daunting appearance--is rather intuitive and easy to pick up. I'm a fan of RTS games and this game makes it easy to set up a scenario and AI to fight against.

The workshop makes this game boundless. I advise you to check the workshop before looking into the DLC. Often, there is substantially higher quality content on the workshop.

EDIT: The removed one of my DLC reviews probably because I recommended a mod instead.

Don't listen to the reviews. They are just a bunch of wimps. This game is really challenging, but that is not reason to give it a bad review because that is the point of the game. This game is supposed to be an addicting and really hard arcade-style game.

War Thunder has come a long ways. That said, the grind has always been the same. If you want to get any of the latest content as a new player, you'll have to look forward to a thousand hours of grinding to research modern era vehicles. But whose to say you'll have enough of the in-game currency to purchase them

Steam Deck Notes:

Untested. Steam discussion say that some tweaking might be needed in order to launch and run properly.
