I can't down vote this because it's exactly as described.

And yes, the other reviews are correct: this game isn't scary and you can play it in less than 2 minutes. My second run didn't even take me 30 seconds.

I can't deny that the game has performance issues with modern equipment, but I cannot express enough how minuscule that is in comparison to the importance of the story the writers are telling here.

Runs great! Load times are fine. What's funny to me is that you could easily 100% the game on one battery charge if you move quickly and skip all the lore bits. Technology has gone so far!

The multiplayer isn't dead. At this point in the game's life cycle, most of the cheaters are gone. There are some modders who will force you to queue into their games, but there are Steam guides that show you how to block their IPs to prevent this. If you are looking for some nostolgic COD, you would not be making a mistake by purchasing this timeless classic.

Oldie but a goodie. This is the Battlefront which we have been asking for a remake of, but have yet to see. Though it obviously shows its age, I wouldn't let that stop you from getting this one-in-a-million game.


If you have an AMD GPU then you will likely encounter a common error where the screen will sometimes turn black on certain locations of certain maps. While this bug is entirely avoidable by not playing on the affected maps, there are solutions available on old forums. Do a little googling and you will find them.


You'll need to modify the controls a bit, but this will run flawlessly! Thanks to older games being oustandingly optimized, I was able to squeeze out six to eight-hour long sessions on a single charge.

The promo videos and images sum up the game well. There are no hidden surprises and the mechanics are simple.

You can honestly get quite a few hours out of this game before it get's boring. Each run can go on for tens of hours. But after a few game's it does get old. The content here is pretty limited.

I would recommend you go ahead and get RimWorld since it has the same feel but offers much more.

The game is rather empty in comparison to the original game. The game goes in-depth with the Crystal Skull, but then it dramatically abridges the older moves.

It's also a shame there aren't any steam achievements.


Runs fine. Supports the Steam Deck's native resolution, but it was not set by default for me.
