I hate that this is the only way to play VR games through steam. This little application is so buggy and problematic that if I had a nickel for every time I've loaded this up and had a problem with it, I could buy Half-Life Alyx. It's slow to load (when it does load), it's a coin flip if I can actually load a game through it, and worst of all, it crashes randomly. Whatever code monkey at valve is responsible for this pile needs to fix these issues, because I will sooner drive to seattle and deface valve headquarters than accept the continual dumpster fire that is my experience using this shoddy product.

Early Access Review
This is a fun game. The combat loop is good once you get the hang of it and there's plenty of advanced mechanics to find out and use to improve your gameplay along the way, making it easier as you discover cool new tricks (pro tip: melee whenever you shoot with the shotgun to parry your own bullet and deal LOADS of damage to whatever it hits!) The only real issues I have with it so far are that 1: the timing and registration on parrying enemy attacks seems shaky and tighter than it should be, making it hard to use in cramped arenas where it would be most helpful, and 2: the mobility in this game is absolutely great, but it honestly feels like it's missing a double jump. Whiplash helps to alleviate that, and the wall-jumping does as well, but V1's got wings already, let him use them! Other than that, 10/10 game and Gianni's VAing is great as always

it's a fighting game that you don't have to sweat at to understand all the mechanics and have fun with them, and the story itself is so accurate to the source material that we get to see and fight things like 2nd/3rd form Frieza, Semiperfect Cell, and even Babidi's lesser minions!

This game was certainly something. If you have 2 dollars and 20 minutes to kill, then this will probably do the job

It's a fun way to play a children's card game online, so long as you don't either play or play against Drytrons/Eldliches.

Short and sweet! Having read the story myself before this, I liked how they managed to portray everything and how they also snuck in loads of trivia about the world this took place in, the setting, and even Mr. Lovecraft himself to really flesh out one's understanding of the background of this story and make it all the more interesting to follow!

10/10 would waste my time in a children's card game again. Just be careful not to fall into the trap of spending ungodly amounts of money on this stuff, it's digital crack.

Honestly, the campaign's alright. All the same issues from the base game carry over in some way, though:
1) The game still shreds your CPU for some reason, and I know it's not my fault as I've been able to fix the problem entirely by accident once and never again no matter what.
2) The load times are very long, to the point where you can be driving around the ring and the game will have to pause and load more of it. To make things worse, the game crashes frequently; I've left the game a grand total of six times so far and four have been from impromptu crashes.
3) The campaign's rewards for customization are only either emblems or armor coatings, no actual armor pieces. Therefore, you're still forced to go through the terrible battle pass and in-game store to get new pieces of armor and breaking another promise.
4) After a certain point, bulletsponge enemies become fairly common. It's fine when they're a boss, but having to fight multiple shielded chieftains with scrap cannons (pretty much just phantom turrets) at once isn't fun. Also, whichever dev thought it would be a good idea to make us fight a gravity hammer wielding chieftain boss inside an area that's the functional equivalent of three hallways and one actual, albeit small, room should be fired.
All things considered, so far infinite's a disappointment for me. If they can fix all of these issues, I'll gladly revise my review, but as it stands I'm getting tired of halo being mediocre for whatever reason every time now. Even though I got this for free, I'm still not happy that my friend wasted 60 of his dollars against my wishes to get this for me. Buy it at a discount if you want it now, otherwise just wait until its problems are fixed six months from now (six ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ months, what the hell!)

1) for some reason this game sees fit to consume the entire operating capacity of my CPU whenever I boot it up, and I know it's not a problem with my hardware as I've been able to fix this problem a grand total of one (1) time and never again.
2) The battle pass. 343 made promises and I get that Microsoft is the one that controls whether those promises are kept or not, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, microsoft could not have chosen a more clear way to tell the community to collectively go and ♥♥♥♥ ourselves.
3) The campaign looks good, I'll give them that, but at least for me it'll have to be perfect to make me want to spend full price on getting it what with everything that's happened so far and this is coming from someone who plays halo more than anything else on my steam library.
4) All this is subject to change if for some reason Micropenis decides to make it so 343 can do what they promised and then they actually hold true to their word after the fact, but I doubt that it will play out this way. I want to like this game, I really do, but as it stands it just reeks of predatory practices that I can't bring myself to support even tangentially.
