Not great, not horrible.
Decent enough game to pick up on sale if you are a huge LOTR dwarven fan. Otherwise you are not missing out on anything.

5/10

A poorly designed FTL knock-off.

Too hard to actually log in and enjoy the game due to the very limited number of servers

Sadly the base game builds her up as this amazing elven fighter. Once you get the DLC and get to the point you can play her she is weak af compared to Talion which makes you like her even less. Her skills are a horrible unbalanced mess that do not feel amazing whatsoever.

You are also put up against captains that immuine to everything including her light abilities meaning her allies and abilities are pretty useless.

If you like Shadows of War like I did, you definately want to skip this dlc.

Though the description and videos are pretty dishonest and very overhyped,
Volcanoids is a decent enough game for a single playthrough. It's not amazing, but it's not horrible, offering an easy middle-of-the-road casual experience in most aspects.

More honestly described as a laid-back Shooter/Looter/Crafting game, it's perfect for casual players, with a linear rail-roaded storyline, easy combat, and a completion time of about 10 hours.

The crafting is simple and straightforward, just mine rock nodes and loot NPC dropships for supplies to build guns, ammo, and upgrade modules on your drillship so you can attack the "Boss Bases" (no spoiler) when the story line calls for it.

As for base-building, it's mostly just placing and upgrading modules on your drillship that you need to progress. Customization options like placing extra walls, floors, paint and logos are available, but they feel a bit pointless in such a cramped space and basically just ends up all looking the same.

The open world is pretty empty, with a few repetitive 3-4 buildings "small towns" scattered throughout. Gameplay involves locating nearby NPC drillships to attack, looting them, and diving back down before the volcano erupts every 30 minutes.

"Survival" in Volcanoids non-existant (I mean unless "avoid getting shot too much in a first person shooter" qualifies as survival games these days ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )

With all that being said and knowing the game for what it actually is and is not, I did enjoy the game a couple of hours a day for the 10ish hours it took me to finish it

A fun and quirky survival game. It's a great game to unwind and have some fun, without getting too invested in a long gaming session.

Subnautica is a perfect mix of exploration, survival, and base-building. A unique and very immersive experience. It's an absolute must-have for anyone who loves base-building/survival games.

Dice Legacy is a micro-management town simulation game that relies heavily on random dice rolls. It sounds kind of interesting, but once you play it, you realize how horrible trying to micro-manage a village using pure RNG rolls actually is.

Not to mention, the dice lose durability every time you roll them, apparently the developer has never rolled dice before.

It is a "wonky controls" physics game. Controls are all over the place and the movement system has your camera constantly spinning most of the matches. Can be very nausiating at times. It's Not bad, not great. Definately do not recommend to anyone who gets motion sickness, But otherwise, the game can be fun for a couple of matches here and there.
