Played on Xbox 360 a lot back in the day. Campaign still hold up rather well. People make a big deal about the censoring of the Nazi flag, which I agree is dumb, but whatever; It is what it is. Multiplayer has long since been shut down (Typical EA), which is unfortunate because I did so love shooting enemy players out of the sky with my trusty K-98.

Pretty great; easy to get lost in your virtual career. Just wish you didn't have to buy the gardening DLC to mow your lawn. Forces you to constantly observe your unkempt yard in self-pity.

First played this on PS2 after renting from Hollywood Video. Had to own it outright after dreaming that I was Jimmy Hopkins many nights in a row. Don't let anyone tell you this is a dumbed-down GTA, because other than a few mechanics and some game-world style, it stands on it's own as a beloved classic in my life. So much to do, so much to see, so much to laugh at. This game is pure entertainment all the way through. Kinda makes you wish you went to a boarding school,

I'll start by addressing the difficulty-balancing; If you've played this game on the OG Xbox back in the day, then you already know what you're getting yourself into. This game is HARD. But the PC version a far-cry from the clunky Xbox controls, so in that aspect it is much easier game-play than what we were used to back then.

Now getting to visuals; this game really holds up for a 2004 release. The dense jungle foliage is honestly quite beautiful to behold. I recommend using your GPU application to enable texture filtering and anti-aliasing to really make the details pop! Game is gorgeous.

Ok, now to sound; the ambiance is alright for it's age and the gun-fire is so-so, but what I really want to talk about is the soundtrack! This game introduced me to timeless 60's hits such as Barry McGuire's 'Eve of Destruction' and the Mamas & the Papas' 'California Dreamin'', ect. These tracks really bring the story to life and don't disappoint; You'll be jamming!

For the story I won't say much as to not spoil anything that you may want to experience for yourself, but I'll say it revolves around a young African American boy drafted into the Vietnam War, and his heart-wrenching letters to his family throughout the game. You really get to know him and his family at a personal level and you'll be trying your darndest to get this boy home safe!

This is a solid Vietnam game and won't disappoint you. Just be ready for literal Hell on Earth.

This game is a blast! I love the large selection of unique weapons and the nostalgic 80's art style. Very smooth game-play and plenty of challenging levels at a killer value. Anyone who enjoys shoot-em-ups will dig this game.

I will note that there's no volume control and that's a bummer; I had to use an external sound controller:/

Early Access Review
Of course I'm going to recommend this game, because it is incredibly fun; however, I'm only 9 hours in and I've noticed many issues and bugs.

-An obvious one is SEEING THE INSIDE OF MY OWN FACE IN FIRST-PERSON. It's easily correctable, but happens frequently and is just horrifying.

-Blocking or parrying with swords - it's just kinda bullsh*t and difficult to get used to - even when switched for directional keys.

-One time I won a tournament and my prize was a horse; but it never showed up in my inventory

-Banner customization sucks. Graphics do not appear properly, are pixelated, and are not center. Colors are few and lame. Really kind of a disappointing feature considering it's this game's namesake.

-Convoluted questlines (Especially Spy Party) - In some quests, you are required to obtain intel from multiple NPC's regarding the objective. You'll be given mixed and contradicting details that make the quests very difficult to complete.

Other than these issues, I can't really recommend this game enough. Totally worth the money. And more than likely, many of my stated issues will be addressed at a later date. After all, this is still an early access game at the time I am writing this review :)

Looks good, Plays well (with xbox controller). Has many cars including my beloved Lancer Evo (Even though the Evo X slides around a lot. Not very realistic.) Great rally game. My only real gripe is audio control, YOU CANT TURN THE AUDIO DOWN BELOW 50%!!!!! The game is so loud! I have YouTube playing on my other monitor with it's volume on full-blast, and the game completely overpowers it. Very annoying. Why limit the audio?? Let me turn the damn volume down!

I'll start by saying, ignore the negative reviews. I only say that because I caught caught up with the negs before purchasing. I have no regrets. I wanted a game like Road Rash; I got it. I wanted a competitive racing game; I got it. I wanted to kick other bikers off the road as they slam into a telephone pole; Oh man, I absolutley got that!
I play with an Xbox controller and it handles perfectly. The game has been updated a lot this year and with that, a lot of the mechanics have been polished. So yes, BUY IT.
The music is pretty meh, so just turn it down and put on some Slayer or Sound Garden and you're gucci.

IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS -- BUY THE GAME AND HAVE FUN!

Good Minecraft clone but not-so-good graphic options. Like the smallest graphic options menu ever. There's no v-sync and screen tearing is very noticable. Other than that, lots of fun. Good F2P. Wish it had game-pad support tho
