Honestly, yes it is full of microtransactions, yes it is pay to win, and yes it will be full of hackers when it gets on sale. Taking all this into consideration, this is the best 2K game in a loooooong time on pc, last time I had this much fun was on NBA 2k17... I dont have any performance issues whatsoever (RX 6700XT, i3-12100)
In this regard I may be lucky, but the gameplay feels different but good, and of course the next gen stuff are welcome. It may be too early to say but I do recommend the game for long time fans!

I have played every 2k since 2k11.
This game somehow can still be very fun for me even with the known big cheating community.
If you can play okay and you played alot of 2ks you get used to the cheaters and you are still able to beat them with a legit player.
But the sad part is if you want to start out or anything like that then you have to deal with getting beaten over and over again until you start cheating.
I don't recommend this game even on sale.
You will either have an okayish time or an awful time.
