This was my first DMC from the franchise, so I had no idea what the game was about besides a action / adventure type game.

I was impressed at the controls and the game play, it had an easy to get into fighting mechanic that became more rewarding an interesting the more time you put into it.

The main thing that makes this stand out from the xbox / ps3 version is the support for higher refresh rate monitors. The game is just much smooth at 145 fps + 144hz.

Having not played any of the prior versions of Bioshock I had no idea what the franchise was about or what to expect. I was disappointed at first because I was expecting the game to be more of an action / fps rather than an action adventure, and there is about two hours of "story" before any action happens. However I stuck with it and ended up really enjoying it. The visuals in this game are amazing alone, and masterfully done.

There are some minor thing I would recommend users tweak that I found helped considerably.

**The Good**

* Amazing Visuals.
* Deep and interesting story line
* Good replay value, there is a lot to explore and search through out the BioShock infinite world.

**Needs Improvment**

* Visibility of enemies is very poor, I recommend either using SweetFX or turning up digital vibrance.
* Player movments are very "blocky" with the stock configuration, I found out this was caused by "autoaim" being forced on. There is a config tweak to modify this:

Browse to C:\Users\YOURUSERACCOUNTNAME\Documents\My Games\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Config
Open XUserOptions.ini with notepad or wordpad
Find the line called "bAimAssist=True" and change it to "bAimAssist=False

Arguably the best competitive fps so far, the skill ceiling is very high; however getting started is easy.

I’m a h uge Street Fighter fan, but fairly unfamiliar with the Tekken franchise so take this review coming from a perspective of a Street Fighter player.

My “main” fighting game is Street Fighter Third Strike. I like this game considerably more than Street Fighter 4 because the fighting mechanics in this version feel more similar to third strike (faster and more fluid movements, more moves that were ported from third strike).

The Good

* Fluid gameplay and movements.
* Supports Hitbox / Arcade sticks / keyboard
* Native 144hz monitor resolution support.

Needs Improvement

* The entire gem system I think is a bit silly, and takes away from the competitiveness of the game.
* Online community is a bit small.

As someone who is brand new to racing games (less than 10 hours in), and played with a controller as opposed to a racing wheel take my review for what it is; a new players perspective.

As someone brand new to the genre, and the series I really enjoyed this game from the start, It wasn’t hard to start; however as I left easy mode the game offered more rewards and challenges.

The visuals are simply amazing, and the game play is very solid.

The Good

* Amazing graphics
* Very good gamepad compatibility, would like to find a good wheel that is compatible withthis game.
* Game is a lot of fun.
* Native 144hz monitor resolution support.

Needs Improvement

* Takes a while to find a match online at non peak hours.

Great game for fans of the genre. The storyline and gameplay are both top notch, and neither feel as if one is sacrificing the other. The combat system is really detailed and for someone who is new to the genre i found the game play to be pretty challenging at first but easy to grasp and get better at.

The Good

* Great story line / graphics / game play
* Solid gamepad controls
* Easy to start, hard to master.

Needs Improvement

* Visibility and camera control issues
* Mouse controls have built in acceleration
* FPS is locked at 60fps, does not support higher fps or higher refresh rates (i.e: 120hz+)

Game is alot of fun, simply put. It's easy to start but hard to master as it advances. Also a good way to build mouse dexterity.

If you enjoy the meta game of counter strike this is the side scroller for you.

The controls feel very crips, the game play is fun and interesting, really having fun playing this game.

This was a game I really enjoyed from back in the Dreamcast / Arcade days. This port did not carry the original sound track or many of the landmark locations that the original had (tower records, kfc).

I would have got the ROM instead, hopefully Sega puts more effort into future steam ports.

Really enjoying this game so far. The game play is top notch; I love how it allows you to use your mouse for the "FPS" parts and your game pad for the side scroller parts.
