This game is awesome. When I first saw it I thought this would be crappy. I tried it once and after a I cleared the Motor Inn in the first episode, I stopped playing it.

The choice is yours
Now when it got into sale I bought both seasons and played further than to that point at the beginning. And as soon as I passed the relatively calm and boring beginning, it become an addicting game. The choices you make truely have massive impact on what happens. I once was to slow shooting a guy and soon there came up a huge fight. Maybe if I was faster this wouldn't have had escalated that much. Who knows?

It really keeps you going. You always want to explore more, find out what happens next. It truely is as good as the TV series just that you can impact on who it ends for you or others. That's awesome! There are not many games which actually approach this kind of dynamic story telling. And those which do do it bad. But Walking Dead is really great - everything has impact and sometimes you think you've said the right and a while later you regret what you've said. And one has to mention that there are not too less situations in which you have to decide. Nearly every discussion has one or more points where you have to decide spontaneously what you think about that. 3 or 4 seconds and it may be too late. Or you just have chosen the wrong answer and you'll surely get it back.

Right in the feels
One of the most fantastic things about TWD is that your emotions really get agitated. You begin to like the people in your group but as you have to decide some will go. My most beloved female character in the group died because of another one's fault. I decided to leave her back then. It's really sad. I lost nearly the whole group. Just 4 (including me and Clem) where left (Episode 3). That's really bad. But it could have been completely different if I just made different choices.

You will have to get along with the thought that this is the apocalypse and you will always lose friends but find new ones, too.

Graphics vs. Gameplay
Important to mention is that this game has not the best graphics. But does this matter? No it surely does not. Graphics are nice but what does that do for you if the gameplay sucks? Most developers want to have the best graphics so that their games do not run on most machines, at least not in that intended graphics quality. And because high-quality graphics are expensive to develop they have not too much left for the gameplay. The Walking Dead has bad graphics (and I don't mean the Cell Shading effect - alias comic effect - but that it has not high resolution textures, insane shading effects and so on) but the gameplay is insanely good. I just love that. The graphics really don't matter.

The little drawbacks
I have to say the game has some annoying bugs. I had to restart 2 or 3 times as it obviously got stuck in a loop where you can't proceed (I've got killed everytime. Normally it should have been a dialog between, but that one was skipped everytime until restart). But that happens not too often. And some bugs are not that bad and will pass as soon as the cutscene is finished.

Conclusion
This game is definetly worth the money and the time you have to spend as the episodes are quite long, at least it feels like that. If you like point'n'click games and even more to make decisions which really impact on the game, then you will get lucky with The Walking Dead.

TES: Skyrim is by far the best RPG game which has ever been made. I spent tens of hours and got still so unbelievably much to do. I still cannot see any end. Of course the main quest is relatively fast done. But there are so many side quests with really deep stories that you won't ever be bored of it. Not to talk about all the mods out there.

I bought the DLCs very early and still haven't found time to go for an adventure in the new region(s).
Skyrim is definetly recommended for everyone who loves RPGs. Meanwhile it's very cheap, so it's surely a must-have.

Awesome game with great atmosphere. Every gamer who likes mysterious games is well served with this title.
The enhanced graphics effects fit great into the universe of Estranged. Sadly it's a bit short, but for a free to play mod it's just perfect.
