This game successfully tricked me into thinking it was another generic shooter after a few minutes into it. I uninstalled it immediately after that (I got this game for free so it's not that I value it at all). I didn't understand why this game had good ratings even though the gameplay feels so bland.

But, until now, I watched a video and discovered that it is the storytelling that makes it great. I re-installed the game and played one straight playthrough. It didn't disappoint me.

Early Access Review
Didn't like the first game because of the top-down view. But this one has improved the concept to an even greater level, really gives me the RE/Evil Within vibe.
