Perhaps an acquired taste, but I find myself enjoying these games despite the overly simplistic stories, simply because of their feel-good nature, and mostly because of the fun crafting focus that sets this apart from other JRPGs. Atelier Ryza (the first one) was my first foray into this series, and I am enjoying the sequel just as much if not more so far.

I can't really recommend playing for the story. But I do find the gameplay, art, and music to be solid, fun, and relaxing. Despite what some of the character design may lead you to believe, this is definitely not one of those types of games. It is very innocent and I would say very G-rated, if that matters to you.

This and Final Fantasy XIV are the biggest comebacks in video game history, in terms of games that launched poorly but then became something amazing. What massive improvements they have made to this game since 2016. Grab a friend or 3, go explore space together and have a grand old time. Hope to see this supported for a long time to come. There are occasional bugs, like my friend getting randomly dropped from my group periodically, but nothing game-breaking that I've seen.

PS: Please make this work on the Steam Deck. Would be a great portable adventure. :)

Really bummed that they decided to drop Linux/Steam Deck support rather than tackle the cheating issue in a healthier way. I'm done with this game from now on because of this choice. So many other multiplayer games allow Linux/Steam Deck support including Halo, The Finals, FragPunk, Marvel Rivals, Overwatch, etc. and nobody is complaining about Linux cheaters in those.

The best Battlefield game. The last two (BF1 and BFV) haven't been nearly as strong as this. I've got lots of hours played on Origin, decided to pick this up on Steam as well. I really hope BF6 is more like this. The time to kill feels perfect, the weapons and various unlocks for them are a lot of fun. All around just a fantastic game.

This game is awesome. And it's super cheap! Relaxing, fun, creative. Don't even think about it, just click that buy button and you won't regret it! Time is money. Stop reading reviews and spend the best $3.99 you're going to spend on Steam.

Really solid ARPG with amazing graphics and fluid combat. Excited to play more. Online is a little buggy and laggy right now since launch was bigger than expected for this small team, so servers are being hammered. Because of this, I'm playing offline. A little bummed that you have to have separate characters for Offline/Online modes. My only gripe so far...don't want to have to restart if I want to play in co-op with a friend.

They need to come up with a better solution of some kind. Loads of people aren't able to play online right now and it's going to kill their momentum if they have to restart. Game definitely still needs some time in the oven but the combat is so good that I don't mind recommending it now.

Been enjoying this pass more than previous ones, so they're on the right track. I'm still not a huge fan of weekly-resetting missions. If you miss a week or two it's tough to get caught back up. The loot is pretty cool though and the challenges aren't so stupid tedious as past passes (only a few are). Most are things you'd be doing anyways, which is what it should be in general.

This game has come a long way since launch and I think it's in a great state right now. There are lots of activities to choose from, the gun play feels great, the graphics are awesome. I absolutely recommend Destiny 2 if you have at least one friend to play it with consistently. It can feel a bit lonely solo but with friends it's a blast.

One of the very best RPGs I have ever played in my life. Larian, you keep making games of this quality and you've got yourself a fan for life.
