There's something really special here, but it might not be palatable for everyone since the tutorial really doesn't do a great job of teaching you the mechanics.

EDIT: This is one of my favorite games of all time but it's brutally difficult and I don't think many people can stomach just how hard it is. I recommend playing with the infinite books mod (I did not.)

Pretty good Resi game, plays really well as a speed game too. First half of the game is the spooky stuff, second half is the shooty stuff, same as every Resi game.

Intro: Village - 3/10. Hated this segment.
Castle - 8/10. I really really like the castle but I wish it was longer.
Doll House - 10/10. This segment is actually perfect.
Swamp - 4/10. Ethan is unbearable and this segment is the awkward middle child of the game.
Stronghold/Factory - 7/10. It's layout is a bit confusing but I really like the looping aspect of the map. Sturm sucks though.
*Nonspecific final area* - 9/10. A little annoying but the game ends really strong.

Can't wait for Resi9.
