Its Pay2Win, but this game focuses more on the coop missions anyway. So you should still give it a go if you like third person shooter.

Feels a bit like Resident Evil and Gears of War...Just...more...terrible.

I have heard a lot of rumours from pissed beta testers that this company is basically milking their new customers by doubling the ingame currency prices. I can`t confirm that since I havent played the game in beta.

At the moment I give a thumbs up, because the game makes fun in coop. If I feel like that I need to add essential details about the game that have changed my feel my thumbs up might turn into thumbs down.

I try to give every game a go, no matter how bad the previous reviews are. But this game is not playable in my opinion. I was walking around in slow motion for 15 minutes through a huge castle on a quest to find a key to open...whatever.

On my 15 minute slow motion quest I didn`t find anything to pickup. Rather I have seen an enemy.

So much better projects out there you can waste your time on. For people who want to have a laugh with friends about the fact how bad this game is, I can recommend it though.

I have seen a lot of reviews with less than 1 hour playtime and I wanted to finish the game at least before I write my opinion here. Sadly I wasn`t able to finish the game but I will write what I think.

Story (short version..):

You stole Pandoras Box and opended it. Suddenly you got superpowers from opening the box and a lot of monsters got summoned to the earth. Like Drakes, Griffins, Ghosts, Werwolfes and stuff... A bad guy wants to controll them and you are the only one who can stop him.

Gameplay:

The graphics are ok......For a 2008 game at least. You can sprint 10 metres than your character is breathing like he is going to die. The jump is sometimes completly broken, you cant jump over 20cm obstacles.

The weapons are nothing special, you have a pistol, small machinegun, big machinegun, assaultrifle, flamethrowers and 2 types of grendes and a rocket launcher.

Whats most annoying is that sometimes you dont know how to proceed. There are endless spawning enemies, do I need to fight or to run? Sometimes you need to kill a certain amout of enemies so something happens, And sometimes you just have to kill the spawner of the enemies to proceed. If you dont do exactly what the game wants from you, you die. Jump over a wall you shouldn`t = kill. Solve a "puzzle" otherwise than planned = kill. Thats frustrating and very sad coded.

Before I just list some points that were cool on the game or sh itty I have to say that I COULDN`T FINISH THE GAME. Because in the last level on an elevator I ALWAYS fall through the map and die. Loaded the map several times and I couldn`t fix the bug. That was the time to uninstall for me. If something serious like this doesn`t get patched you know how much the devs care about their game.

Positive aspects of the game:
+ The music was overall very awesome.
+ The scenery was well done with all the nonstop explosions and the feeling you are really in a war between factions.
+ The other soldiers who mostly follow you give you a feeling that you arent alone in this "war".
+ Funny ideas like, you try to open a door but you can`t because suddenly a ghost appears and took away the handle, made me smile at least.
+ Story is ok to understand and you know at least what you are fighting for.

- KI incredible stupid and own allies completly useless.
- Enemies are bulletsponges like hell. A centaur and griffons are able to absorb 2 minutes of nonstop gunfire which is just dumb.
- Named allis got too less of personality that you could care about them.
- Jumping is broken and you feel like you can`t even pass a blade of grass.
- TOO much ammo around every corner.
- The superpowers feel really useless. The nonstop absorbing souls to heal the own life is just more annoying than fun.
Medipacks would have done the job I guess. Potential wasted there...
- 9000! Wasnt able to finish the game due to a gamebreaking bug where I always fall through the ground...

And think about the competetive aspects you could compete:

- Queing up vs fullpremade teams as solo!
-Getting kicked out of a ladder game just for fun for having a disconnect, even if you have 10:0 stats.
-If you arent familiar with russian greetings you should inform yourself before joining a game, else you would be
confused about CYKA BLIAT VODKA VODKA, YOUR MOTHER IS A *BIEEEEP*!
- Do you like arabians?? Better be friendly to them, because teamkilling is what they stand for.
- Matchmaking is starting 4vs5 games, enjoy your bot!
- People get random Matchmaking bans, because they can`t reconnect due to bugs!
-You have to decide what player you are, you have 2 options. You can be the noob or the hacker.

As Noob you basically have worse than 1,0 kd. As Hacker you are above 1,0kd, pretty simple, isnt it.

-Oh and if you meet people who are Global Elite after 20 hours playtime, dont be afraid. Its okay. The boy/girl is
just playing on one of his 37 smurf accounts.


I can really recommend this game if you live in russia and your IQ is below 70! Or you love the sound of ongoing 13 yo german gangster-rapper screaming in your ears, this game could be for you.


If you arent sure yet if you should buy this, just check out some hacks in youtube which are available for cs:go. Its awesome. You see flying people who shoot with homing bullets through 10 walls while screaming in voicechat, YOU ARE ALL NOOBS, BUHAHAHAHAHAH.

And honestly, who would want to miss something like that :) ?

If the current bugs are taken serious by valve the game might leave beta stage in like 3-4 years.

I got this game free from the Humble Store and this are my first impressions after completing an 5 hours Skirmish match.

-There is no campaign, you have only the skirmish mode which you can play offline or in multiplayer.

-You get really fast into the game since there are not much ressources and the buildings are pretty much self-explanatory.

-Normal units get pretty fast useless when high-lvl heroes appear on the battlefield, since they casually oneshot entire unitgroups with one attack when they are highlvl.

-Defending and attacking castles/citys feels cool and not too hard.

-The AI is really acting "nice". The AI doesn`t send 781 drones into every corner of the map and is building expansions until you give up because the game would take 2 weeks to finish. They try to handle the threats on their own continents, isles and barely explore other continents with ships.

- The diplomacy system sometimes doesnt make any sense, they declare you war for no reason or want incredibly stupid high tributes from you to stay in peace.

- The graphic looks beautiful and is definetly to enjoy.


All those impressions were made on normal mode difficulty 3/5.

A few weeks ago I bought Fallen Enchantress...Even if I like the graphics from Fallen Enchantress more, the game couldn`t catch me. I can enjoy Warlock way more, thats why I am going to buy the dlc pack when its on sale.

A true masterpiece of an videogame and outstanding example as a prove that RPG-Maker games can turn into real worthy games!

This story is so well written it deserves so much more to become an movie than most AAA titles.

Was playing this game until I had finished it.

I can barely remember a videogame that touched me in a way like "To the moon" did. It really gives you a lot of stuff to think about.


I can recommend this to EVERYONE. Just funny how a game can be so popular these days without ANY violence.


Thank you to the developer for such a well written story and rpg maker execution.

The ending is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you will love it.

Van Helsing trys to be serious with its pretty dark and grey steampunk citys. On the other hand you find a lot of humor in the characters. This works very well and gives you a good feeling while playing the game.

The length of the campaign is okay with 10-12 hours. I finished the game twice, because the other character you can choose from ( if you own the dlcs) looked pretty interesting to me.

Not a WOW game, but recommendable for everyone with a budget, since the game is very cheap.

Pretty cool game which is easy to learn. After 3 attempts of surviving I finally made it to finish the game.

Some achievements are bugged and can only be obtained if you finish the game in one playthrough without quitting the game.

In addition a lot of people have serious FPS lags....I had some aswell. The solution was to run the game in window mode.

I can still recommend this game since its pretty cheap.

By far the worst A-RPG I have ever played

Im lucky that I got this game in a bundle. Because everything more than 1 $ would have been a waste.

-Nonsense Story
-The dialogues are TERRIBLE and dont make any sense.
-The german translation was made with the google translator, im not even kidding.
-When someone told me that this game was made with the Diablo II engine I would have believed him because the graphics are ugly as hell.
-Coop is bugged
-You have no idea what to do or where to go after acceppting a quest, because there are like no waypoints.


I could barely take this game more than 2 hours, but those are the things I noticed SO FAR....Dont even want to know what people find once they dig deeper.

How it really was: I started the game and noticed it is ugly as hell, okay no matter im no graphic rapist...lets try it maybe its fun. I choose the Mage and start playing. My hero always interrupts autoattacking when my cursor is not EXACTLY over the enemy. Half of my autoattacks fly through things and sometimes my camera gets locked on a chest or a barrel which I dont even want to attack.

The last 5 minutes of gameplay I unlocked the following achievements:


Kill 2500 monsters
Kill 7500 monsters
Kill 20000 monsters
Kill 50000 monsters
Kill 100000 monsters

..... How?

I was doing a quest where I was supposed to kill a bear, the bear got stuck in a wall and suddenly all those achievments popped up. That was enough....HOW BUGGY can a game be.

I support and admire a lot of small indie devs and hell no I dont need AAA title to be happy. But this is just TRASH.

The devs know that, they ignore their community and dont respond to anyone in the forums. Pathethic.
