Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of AVICII.

With that said, I really enjoyed my time with AVICII Invector. You might need to mess around a bit with the latency and such but after that it's a pretty smooth experience. Fans will almost undoubtedly love the game, and even if you're not one chances are you'll still have fun - unless you really really despise AVICII's music. Personally I saw it as chance to go through his discography, and with such great gameplay I ended up vibing to the entire thing.

At the end of the day, I might still not be a fan but I sincerely believe you couldn't give a better tribute to him than this. May his music be remembered by his fans.

Short but full of charm - my only complaint is how messy sorting out your inventory can be. As for the reasons why Smile for Me is so good, well I think the store page does a better job at explaining than me.

I rate this game a "being sexually harassed by a bed" out of 10.

Dear developers of visual novels: for the love of god please add manual save states. Might be a personal thing but I don't have the patience to watch a film or read a book four times no matter how good it is. Having the option to create save states would be perfect, it saves so much time after a first playthrough when all you want to do is get every achievement or explore alternative paths without having to read the entire thing all over again.

Regarding the game at hand, I think Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest is alright. Love the ambience - very soothing along with the art style but unfortunately, I wished they did more with their very well-thought RPG system. It doesn't allow you to go full bonkers, making the entire narrative limited which was disappointing to me.

I recommend this game on sale.

Honestly you could say there're more polished and better RPG games out there, but none of them are like Super Daryl Deluxe.

There'll be some backtracking, bit of grinding here and there (more noticeably at the "end-game") - but as it keeps pumping you with new content it manages to stay fresh and... equally stupid. The passion is definitely there and the game isn't really trying to be anything else other than its own thing: you'll either love or hate it.

Here's a heads-up though: if you're the type of person who mindlessly skips text you're going to have a hard time with this game - there're barely any waypoints so you'll have to figure out some things by yourself. Doesn't help either that there're side-quests which you won't be able to do until way later so... in a nutshell you'll have to be very attentive.

Still, one of my favourite games I've played this year so far. Hoping to see more of Daryl.

Act II - Mission III: Apparently there's this game-breaking bug where it doesn't allow you to end your turn or the enemy's, forcing you to restart the entire game. Now imagine this happening to you, three times in the same mission.

Even still, I wasn't really having the best time with Sword Legacy Omen - the A.I. is extremely retarded. They rush towards you without turn points pretty much killing themselves; sometimes they don't react when you're attacking them from range; once you unlock this character that allows to build "breakable" walls they're unable to break them and simply stare at you while again.. you attack them from range.

Could be a personal thing but it wasn't uncommon for me to struggle with using skills or miscalculating the visible information. The gameplay not only feels clunky as it's annoyingly slow - I'm aware there's a 2x speed button but honestly couldn't they run? Or perhaps add 4x? Also I don't want to go too much into the checkpoint system but I'd suggest instead the ability to manually save - I lost count of how many times the game screwed me technically and I had to restart chapters.

Sword Legacy Omen is probably one of the worst strategy games I've ever played - but unlike others though I don't believe it's a cash grab or similar. Maybe someday I'll give it another shot and edit this review. Until then, it's a no.

For the price, competent. I think the saws end up being more annoying than challenging - not only you're in the dark as their sound cue isn't that perceptible. Still, enjoyable enough.

A simple premise that will keep you entertained for few hours. Personally I'd like an option to remove certain game sounds (such as the voice), but you can either tinker with the game files on that or just mute the game altogether.

Tip: If you're struggling with input lag, try to disable VSync.

A short and relaxing visual novel to play before bed - Coffee Talk gives an interesting flavor to mundanity, something that I'd argue it's more appreciated these days considering the wacky times we're living in right now.

Regardless, the concept of making drinks is an intricate one albeit limited; there're some attempts into stretching the mechanic but they end up feeling either too shallow, or too stressful to the point of having to make drinks based by "number x of a certain taste or temperature" with a timer. If this sounds like fun to you, then perhaps you might encounter some replay value once you're done with the main story.

... which is also short. My biggest frustration is the length, everything feels so shortsighted - it's like you want to surprise someone by making a cosy room spending hours and hours with fragile decoration, just for it to be destroyed minutes after showing. Definitely very nice and I've loved my time with, but unfortunately... could be more memorable.

Saddens me to recommend Coffee Talk solely on sale, but I look forward to see what's next for the developer.

Multiplayer's dead - from what I've played it seemed decent, but with a campaign that is 2 hours long (including grinding for the singleplayer achievements) and no bot support... don't bother.

PLANET ALPHA is a game that excels on its presentation - you get to (linearly) explore a strange yet beautiful alien world full of detail and to an extent, analogous of Avatar by James Cameron.

Unfortunately (and comprehensibly) being a game where not that many people were involved, some sacrifices were definitely made: technically the game can be a mess to the point of crashing or forcing you to restart levels due to some game breaking bug. The gameplay isn't that polished either, with okay puzzles and frustrating stealth mechanics (thankfully you lose little progress when you die).

Regardless, it's a game that made me positively speechless in a handful amount of times and I can't help but appreciate the developers for pulling this off. If somehow they're reading this review: take notes of the flaws sure, but also be proud of what you've accomplished. It's a good game and I interestingly look forward to what's next.
