Everyone that plays this just uses a Youtube guide and that is it. No one is playing this game legit with their own strats. They are piggy backing off other peoples strats.

All the negative reviews are most likely performance. I get about 70fps in game with a 3070. Most of the performance issues are client based. The game just released on PC. Most of the issues from the negatives are day one launch issues. Name one MMO that had a smooth launch day? None. But people want to jump on here and review a game based on their first 20 min of playing it.

Now this game is basically Ark Survival / Conan Exiles. If you like game like that then this should be up your ally. The animations are bit stiff but other than that I experienced no real issue.

The game lets you build a base anywhere. You have a limited box to work with and they limit you on the amount of tile blocks you can place for your base. I wish it was like Trove where you get unlimited building as long as it is in the box. I also wish they would make it so moving the base was like Trove where you can plop it down fully intact. But what they do here is the entire base explodes and all your crafting stations go back in your bag and return the mats for the tiles. Then you have to build it back up from scratch again. That is quite dumb.

I do like there is no real inventory limit. So far been gathering tons of stuff and it just stays on me with no weight or slot limitations so far.

Really good character creator with lots of classes, I mean lots of animals to choose from. You can be a tiger, shark, ape, rhino, bear, even a freakin jellyfish.

Just like Ark you can tame anything you can fight and ride it around without any learning or crafting. Just call it out and hit G to mount it. That simple.

Play it fi you like Ark and MMOs. Ignore all the negatives about performance. It's fine now.

If you are comparing Ready or Not to this game I would say Ready or Not is more SWAT style. GB is more like Ghost Recon style. RoN has civilians and hostile AI and is only Coop. RoN also has smaller confined maps with max 5 players with 6 coming in the new patch. This game Ground Branch has been out much longer then RoN. There are no civilians and you can have a lot of players like 15+. GB maps are much bigger in scale. GB also have PVP which RoN does not. The guns feel the same as RoN. GB has the best weapon customization in any game I played so far. You can add rails, multiple sights, multiple lasers and a flash light. You can customize your gear down to the vest, belt, boots, and gloves. Pick the colors you want for the clothing and add attachments to the helmet like Night Vision and strobe lights. You have way more tons of customization not just to the weapons but to the AI aswell. They give you sliders for every single AI behavior so you can adjust the AI exactly how you want. You can play day maps and night maps. I would say tho RoN AI is a bit better. But I will also say RoN AI is more predictable then GB. The AI in GB I have not figured out. Sometimes they push where they last heard something or saw something then just stand there. Sometimes if they know exactly where you are they will flank and move to your location. If you kill 1 enemy, suddenly 4-5 enemies will come out the wood work to investigate the sound if it was near by. In RoN its a lot of rooms, doors, rooms and doors. Where GB is more open, some buildings have doors and some dont. Most maps you can just pick off half the population of enemies out in the open and if you miss your shot they do run. but sometimes they just run left, stop then run right, stop then run left, stop. You get the picture.
There are also WAY more guns in GB then RoN but RoN has riot shields and tasers and pepper spray and more tactical stuff. Also in GB its only kill on sight where RoN you want to try at least to make the enemy surrender.
The graphics are much better in RoN compared to GB,
Last but not least, I think match making in RoN is a bit better with smaller team and you can hop in and out easy. GB there is a list just like BF or COD and you choose which game you want to join. The game in GB is map locked until people vote for a new map. You can jump in the game any time in GB even when people are still finishing the mission. You can chill in the lobby and shoot at the fire range or adjust your gear, or you can spectate the players still in the mission and watch. Then when that game ends, people can que up at the map and join the next game.

Honestly both games have their own pros and cons. They are both worth having in your library.

Zero Hour is going to my next purchase most likely. With all 3 games in your library you should have 100's of hours of fun.

For 10$ it is worth. The game can be improved upon tho. If the devs see this review I would change some things. Like if by accident you deleted a motor way, it should give it back immediately. So many high scores lost because this happens and you have to wait for those cars before it gives it back. The game should remember where I put that motor way, so even If I remove it, if I put it back exactly then nothing changes. But if I move it one tile then I understand the ghost motor way appears and then shifts to the new placement when the last car leaves.

Traffic lights are ok just not that great. You can not put a traffic light by a motor way entrance/exit. I feel like my cul de sac of houses clogs the entrance and it would be nice to put a light there to help that.

Some quality life changes would be if I hover my mouse over a building it should make everything transparent except the houses of that same color.

I do love the color blind settings. For me this was a game changer as some colors look similar. The way this game fixes that for people like me is that you get to choose what color buildings you want. So I can get rid of pink and just have red. I can pick light blue and orange and other colors that pop and don't share similarities.

I like that there are leader boards and ranking. It makes aiming for high scores so much fun. I also like the randomness of the spawning and makes each run feel different. There are also challenges for each map with a unique set of rules which adds more challenge to the map.

The game has a daily challenge and a weekly challenge that you only can do once. These maps usually have a challenge to them like, can not remove trees, or unlimited bridges and so forth. It makes coming back to the game to do the daily and weekly fun.

This game proves graphics mean nothing. This game can easily be 20$. The amount of hours and replay value is awesome.

Point and click adventure game with some dice roll elements on skill checks based on stats and perks. There is plenty of very good voice acting in this game and tons of dialog and interesting characters. Each person is tied into the world in some way. You have a lot of narrator dialog, mostly thoughts in your head. You will have to make sense of what your thoughts are telling you and convince your own self how you want to shape this character in your eyes. I like the open world where I was able to freely move about and talk to or go anywhere in any order I wanted. It is a decent game if you like story telling games.

You are probably going to love the combat right off the bat. The visuals and sound effects makes all the spells and attacks look amazing and impactful.

The questing is ok, the cut scenes were cool, the story wasn't that bad. But the quests are very boring like you would see in any mmo fetch quest. But at least the quests here are layed out very well. It's simple dialog skipped with G, 10 feet on your horse, kill 3 of that and turn in quest. It's pretty simple. There are tons of quests and npcs. It is insane how much dialog, voice acting, it's got the most insane amount of quests I have ever seen. That said you can get burnt out. You basically soft cap at 50 and you will most likely have 3 or 4 out of the 7 arks obtained through the main story. So you still have tons of quests ahead of you, even at the soft cap.

Now gear works differently in this game. There is item levels in the game and a fresh 50 wants to get into the 302 item level gear. You can get a set of this gear when you are able to do chaos dungeons or guardian rifts. Your gear now wont change after this. All the gear now will drop 302, nothing higher. The way you get higher item level is you take the 302 armor and "Hone" (upgrade) it. You need so many different mats just to hone 1 peice of gear. Guardian shards, Silver/gold, Destruction shards, Harmony shards, and Harmony leap stones. As you spend this resource upgrading, the chance to upgrade it again decreases every time. You get to level 12 like me and the gear is a coin flip 50/50 that is will fail an upgrade and lose those mats. The upgrading in this game is very RNG. There are some mats that help increase the % but there is a limit.

Speaking of limits. You know all the mats I said you need to hone your gear. Well the game limits you a lot on everything. There is an exchange vendor you can use to buy harmony shards and other shards to hone your gear. But there is a weekly limit on how much of each mat you can buy. Then you got to wait a week.
You can exchange through the guild with bloodshards. But there is a lmit on that too. Plus your guild research need to be level 2.
You can do dailies. I accepted at least 8 dailies with harmony shards so I can hope to get 1 upgrade on my gear (maybe) then after I turn in 2 quests the 3rd one was like, sorry you ran out of una tasks. So now that character has to wait till 2am to do them again.
Now what you must really do is just grind in these dungeons till your eyes bleed to maybe get 1 upgrade. Its a very slow process.

There is quite a bit of sailing in this game. You get a boat and there are a ton of little islands you visit and do little tasks on the island for reward chests. Inside these chests have tons of materials to hone your gear.
These islands are great to break from the tidius repetition of chaos dungeons. And the loot is great. But once you do these islands, that is it. You can not go on an alt and complete it now. So all those chests should go to your main character. Once those chests are spent, that's it.

I find my self bored of my character and unable to progress further without repetitious grinding of chaos dungeons for 10 shards when I need hundreds for just 1 piece.

I did figure out the tower gives a decent amount of shards. But it's the same thing as chaos dungeons. It's a lot of repetition. The problem is I liked a char, spent shards to get them to almost 500, played another char, liked it a lot, now is my main, lost a lot of shards switching mains. See what I mean.

The game is good but it feels like a mobile game. It has the currency of mobile games and the store to back it up. Its a game you log in every day and do dailies.

Worth playing for sure, its free. Its the best free game on steam imo. I will be playing this game on and off.

- Tons of bots. Not one player is actually playing their character. Every person leveling up are going in a straight line to all the NPC's in the exact same order using the same brown horse. People making new characters over and over. All I see are programs selling off accounts with max level characters. No one levels up in this game legit. You can just buy a max char on another account. The devs do nothing about this and its been happening since launch. This game has died and the bots have reclaimed the pieces.

Honestly I would not recommend this game. Not because it is bad. But the level design is not good here. You will get to the point in the game where you have to stay near these light sources and if you dont stand in the light for a period of time you will just die. I just hate these types of levels. Where you have to go point to point quickly or you die. And if you dont like going fast or playing fast you will just not get past this wall. Bad level design walls the player if they do not have very fast death wish run like maniac through the level looking for an light orb. Its not my kind of fun. But playing up to that point is a blast. But this wall will get a lot of players and they end up quitting.

15 bucks not bad for this game.

Lots of replay value but it does get repetitive. The levels play out the same way every time.
There is not much randomness to building a good deck. You get plenty of rerolls and tons of choices.
I reached level 100 and beat the last boss. The game just repeats spawning the same mobs in order again. I do think they are stronger each level.

What I am wondering is why this game just showed up on day when it was released in 2019? What worries me is it took 2 years about to get to this stage of the game seems meh. I do feel this game needs more work and more tweaks. No 1440p resoultion that I saw.

Sound track is meh. need a better sound track, it gets the job done, but music does elevate the game play and the excitement. During boss battles, would like to hear boss music but at the moment the music is just there, sometimes it just cuts out and resumes randomly. It needs work.

Lots of control options which I loved. I was able to change the controls how I wanted.

I would say only get this game for the multiplayer. As a single player game it is ok. other websites has it cheap if you missed the winter sale.
