If you never heard of Valheim I will describe here.

It's a survival game, adventure action combat game. You don't survive like the usual survival games where you need to eat and drink regularly. Instead food increases stamina and health, and sometimes mana (Eitr) These food buffs last depends on the quality of the food. The way you get stronger is crafting better gear. There are also skills you level up, like maces, one handed sword, jumping, running, and so forth. You level up these skills the more you do them.

Crafting, you can craft armor, weapons and food. There is robust crafting system just for food. Most people make giant kitchens with chests full of food, fire places, so forth. You can upgrade the stations as well by adding addons that are close to the station to buff the stations level in order to make better items. There is a workbench, forge, cauldron, then late game you unlock black forge and other tables.

There are several biomes (land) to explore with it's own monsters and a boss. For instance you start in the medows and there are greylings, boars, necks, deer. The boss is Eikthyr. Each biome has a boss you summon and defeat and drops something to help you progress to the next biome.

Building. The game has an amazing building system that is very easy to use. The game has building integrity that means you cant just build floating bases. Everything needs to be connected and supported. Each building block has its own integrity and strength that allows you to build higher and more complex builds.

Farming. There is a a lot of cooking recipes in Valheim. That means you might find seeds in different biomes to plant in your garden. Then when you harvest these you will have access to different food buffs. Farming is very important in this game and is part of the game that you simply can't ignore. But thankfully the game does an amazing job at this. You can make some really cool gardens or keep it simple.

Sailing. There are only a 2 boats and a raft in the game. No one ever uses the raft. The ocean biome is not fleshed out but it does have it's uses. There are only 1 attacking monster in the ocean and a living land mass to farm chitin. Other then that you usually sail to other biomes and get arround by boat or by portal. You can aslo fish and some fish will be in the ocean and near biomes to get different verities of fish.

Multiplayer, This game is meant to be played with others. I would only recommend playing this with friends. You can also mod your multiplayer server and the mods carry over well.

Mods. Mods are amazing in this game. The work really well. There are tons of mods that will enhance the gameplay and expand on the game ten fold. These mods add a ton of quality of life to the game and is the reason this game does so well. Veteran players like myself do not play on vanilla unless we are on PTR and just testing the new patch. Once you finish this game on vanilla you should start modding the game. You will then realize the potential this game has to offer. The best modding community since Skyrim.

Now that you know more about the game. This is my review on the game.

The game progresses well. But once you get to mistlands / ashlands I think the game suffers. The mist is annoying. Not only is the mistlands biome annoying to navigate, but why would I want to not see in front of me. I usually mod the mist out of my game.

The ashlands is also really annoying. I think this biome just spams mobs on you 24-7. There is no real way to make or build something safe. The only safe way to stay in this biome is taking over a fortress and then that will be your hub until you get to another fortress and move the portal there.

Landing here for the first time is really annoying and is brutal on the introduction to the biome.

Then farming the flame metal is another thing that I have to mod out in this biome. This flame metal is located in the middle of lava lakes. You need special bombs that make islands to hop on to get to the metal safely. But easier said then done. Then what can happen is lava balls can spawn out of the lava and hit you, knocking you off the platform into the lava. Very annoying. Also these bombs last maybe 15 seconds then they disappear.

Then when you do get to the flame metal you can mine it. But guess what the island starts to sink the second you mine it. And because the design of the game when you mine something mobs attract to your location. This makes farming this stuff very annoying.

The stuff you do mine thankfully floats on the surface of the lava but its still difficult to get them.

You will go through tons of bombs doing this. So that is why I mod the sinking effect from the game. I just don't understand why the island needs to sink?

Also I feel that you have to grind magic and level magic in order for your spells to be good in the ashlands. The melee armor and weapons work better once you hit the ashlands that I feel magic suffers or is obsolete. The new spells are also disappointing and don't help at all.

Also the feather cape basically becomes obsolete once you get here too. It has a fire debuff stat and doesnt compare to the run speed cape. I think the ashlands is the worst biome and I think it needs an overhaul.

This game is fun if it did not have so many bugs.

SO MANY bugs. I can't even stress it enough

Game crashes to desktop
Items not showing in the shop even though you unlocked them and customers are ordering food with those ingredients
Some ingredients you can place individually for precise amount for the pizza, and some ingredients you just throw on there not knowing how much you putting. All it shows is a circle you can make bigger or smaller with mouse wheel and your guy just takes a handfulls and just throws it at the pizza. It's lazy and sloppy, the ingredients just float on top the pizza all bugged out in the air.
Had a whole pizza disappear off my board. I had to pizzas I was juggling, as I was platting one pizza I turn around and my pizza on the other board disappeared. Just glitched thru the floor I guess and had to make it all over again.

This DLC is fun to play, but the bugs break the experience. There are design flaws with the ingredients and how you place them on the pizza. There are issues with the store not showing certain items. It has horrible frame rate issues. This is a hot mess of a game.

And the STUPID thing I might add is you never slice the pizza. You serve them whole. There is no pizza cutting table or pizza boxes.

You take your time selecting when you want to do an order. Unlike the original game where the orders come in automatically and you are racing to get it done. This is like just a casual pizza game and you get to choose if you want to have 5 customers that day or 2. There is a timmer when you select an order but it's not the same.

The only progression in the game is unlocking more ingredients so that the pizzas get more diverse. But then they will pump out the same small pizza with sauce, cheese and basil. Same amount everytime.

I would skip this dlc, its like a pizza with not enough cheese and it all slid to one side.

It is scary game, but with your friends it makes playing fun and exciting. I didn't even get through the tutorial alone that how scared I was. But when your with friends it's like exploring graveyards (irl) as kids with flash lights trying to ghost hunt.

The game is 4 player coop, the object is to figure out what type of ghost is haunting the place. You buy equipment to help you narrow down the list of signs that ghost give off, like cold breath, finger prints, white noise chatter, and such.

There are lots of ghosts in the game like demons, wraiths, phantoms, jins, banshee, poltergeist and so forth. The places you go are chosen at start of mission, but the ghost is random every time and so is the room or location inside the place is haunted. Like you can play same map, but get a different ghost haunting in a different room. Because there is a wide variety of ghost and some ghost share similar signs, but every ghost has a particular thing they do.

The game uses your mic to talk to the spirit. The game knows a variety of phrases, like saying the ghost name, or a phrase "hello" "who are you" "show your self" "say something" just say what comes to mind as if you are talking to a spirit and want that spirit to interact with you.

Lots of replay value here. Great game to play with friends. I suggest mics in game. Make sure you know which key is push to talk. There are 2 push to talk keys. Once is proxy chat, and other is Walkie-Talkie global.

This game works with VR and NON-VR. Don't matter if VR or not, you can still play together.

great customization here. But there is a pay wall to unlock the hero you want. Meaning if you want to be Ice man, pay wall. But if you want to be Pyro, then he is free. There are lots of different heroes with there own abilities. Lots of costumes and patterns and such. I played this game a long long time ago. But coming back to it, felt good, until the network lag started rubber banding me. I was like really? there is only like 500 people playing right now, why is it doing this?

Found the game easy to learn but then trying to get stronger was seeming difficult. Felt like my 2 pieces of gear I got at about level 6 felt like no upgrade at all. Then the mobs were a lot harder where I had to spam my bilities just to survive. Very complicated UI, cant even scale the UI which is weird. Other then that, it's an ok game. But I am too casual to jump in a game like this. I like MMOs that pigeon hold me for a bit so I can get use to the menus. But this game I felt like after the tutorial I was overwhelmed with things that the tutorial did not explain.

Another thing that bothered me was they used str, dex, int, like in other rpg's but did not know for sure what my character benifits from which stat. They did add a tool tip to show you which stat boosted what. But I thought the city of heroes game did a good job with the nodes. Felt simple and I always felt like I was getting stronger. Where as this game has that learning curve.

It's a fun game for a little while. If you ever played any io game on phone it's like that. More you feed the bigger you get. Weapons and shields are in the game to boost def/atk.

Other then that the game suffers from really bad lag depending on location. You will be fine for a bit then you will see the signal icon and things freeze and speed up. This happens ALL the time.

The Audio is all messed up, you turn it down in the menu and everything is cool, but then you go in game and it's maxed out loud. You need to go in sound mixer and lower it in there.

It has a pay to win model which for this game it is no big deal, it just means you can stay in the game a little longer with lives and keep fighting.

I did find a super chest that me and 3 others were fighting for, I happen to get this sword inside that pretty much dominated everything I touched and I was king quite quickly. So if King is all that matters, I suggest going for chests.

Each crab has a special they can use. TBH the crabs that boost damage or attack speed are the best. I was going to die and I activated it and I chewed through this guy much bigger than me and he flipped me on my back and I still won.

So there some OP specials for some crabs. There is a crab that just hides in its shell forever. Seriously can just hide in there and be immune to everything and get all its hp back. I sat there waiting for him just to see how long it takes, but seem like forever and i hit him over and over and no damage. So I think this crab broken.

+fun quick game play
+doesn't take long to get new crabs

-lag
-balance issues

I thought this game was just a sandbox game, (which it does have) but it actually has lots of levels. Each level just has one objective, kill all blue army with the resources provided. It is based off points, so each level has a max points you are allowed to use for your army. Each unit is a certain amount of points that cost in the army. So you are always trying out new things. Get this game now, only 10 dolla!!

Great game, the only thing that kills it is the admin abuse on what little servers are left. You either have full populated servers or server with no one in them. The ones with people in them are bunch of 40 year olds that have a few drinks and shoot people. Then you got the Nazi admins on these servers that abuse their powers by blowing you up if you disagree with their rules. These rules can be as simple as using a machine gunner, then complain your camping lol, then set you on fire for posting up with it, which is the only thing you can do with the MG. Then ban you for arguing about it. If you want to have fun you basically have to lick the admins balls and keep your head down.

Just download the demo so you can see how game play is. I love this game. You feel like a bad ass when you press all the buttons that flash on screen and watch Markus just kick ass like Equilibrium. It is a story driven game but it keeps your hands on the key board and mouse ready. Switch to controller if you have prob hitting the quick action buttons, memory will work better on controller. But I was able to pull it off with mouse/keyboard. I like that you can still control the character like in LA NOIRE where you look around the crime scene collecting evidence.

Play 3 androids.
Conor - special investigator prototype android, made by cyberlife to help investigate "malfunctioning" androids.
Kara - House keeper android, Abusive owner with a child of there own. You will have to decide if you want to help or not.
Markus - basically you are Alfred, you live in a big house taking care of a rich artsy fartsy old man, until tragedy that leads Markus down a rabit hole.

replay value is insane. love the acting and voice overs. graphics are insane. good pace for each chapter. lots of things to collect and interact with.
