According to Steam, I am 4.2 hours into the game. I feel like I been playing longer than that. So far so good, the game is made well. Graphics are amazing, the sound effects for cars, weapons, explosions, all been sweet. Truely a Mad Max game for sure, I love the car combat and the ground hand to hand combat. Hand to hand combat is very similar to Batman games. Car combat is cool, the harpoon gun basically attaches to things like people, parts of cars, sniper towers and other things. When driving the game slows down to a stop when aiming with harpoon or shotgun. This is great because it allows you to focus on doing what you need to do then continue with the action. The map and exploration is straight out of Farcry 3/4. You basically look for hot air balloons and it uncovers things on the map. There are looting camps and big strongholds to take out and when doing so, your allies fill in. The most satisfying thing in the game is seeing the car you picked out get decked out. Seeing it get fully customized by engine, nitro, spikes on wheels, paint, exaust, suspension, the whole nine yards. It's really interesting. The game does have a creepy vibe and can be erie game to play. Overall, I like it for the Steam Sale of 20$ and I think that is a fair price. I don't see how this is a 60$ game since it does recycle a lot of elements from the 2 other games like batman and farcry.

Ok, changing my review since Mudrunners is now live. I did not understand this game at all. After watching a few streamers play it. I realized I was playing the game all wrong. There is strategy to this game. Fuel management, terrain navigation, using the right tool for the right job. Cool acheivements. I underestimated this game completely.

Now that said, this game is no longer being updated. Mudrunners is the new game. Something about publishers and all that mess. My advice is skip this game, it is not needed to play Mudrunners. Just get Mudrunners only. But if you already own Spintires, get Mudrunners while it's 50% off, but it's only 50% off until Nov 30th.

Mudrunners is defently better game in my opinion. Yes I have had issues with the game and wanted to rip my hair out, but once I figured it out, it was a smooth game, with cool maps, and much better graphics. I like the cockpit view, it's much nicer.

I would only recomend this game if you have NOT played the 2013 version of Farming Simulator. If you have not played FS2013, then I highly recomend buything this game. Do you need to buy 2013 to play FS15... no. And do not buy 2013 thinking you are going to have 2 completely different games, because you're not.

Now with the negative part of this review. This is just my pet peves since I played the crap out of Farming Simulator 2013. And this is my personal opinion on the FS15 things that disappointed me.

Same stuff from 2013. Nothing really has chaged. You start with 2 new maps. The graphics are updated a bit, and they added some cool visuals like dirt collecting on tires and the tractors get dirty too.

This game is copy and pasted of all the farming equipment from 2013. Same plows, seeders, cultivators, tractors, and so on. I did not see any new tractors. They are the same ones from 2013. The new stuff I noticed is with the harvestors and the attachments, it seemed like they added a few more bigger and wider cutters for the harvestor. The only thing new is the logging equipment. (which I hear is a buggy at the this time).

The menu is still the same. Got to change the graphics and settings before jumpping in the game. You can't change graphics in the middle of playing. There is bad screen tearing, which of course from the 2013 version had the same thing. This is where you have to go into the files of the game and modify the .txt file and change the vsync. Why they don't add that option in the menu, beats me. Game runs choppy on mid system like mine, but I play on max, and I get smooth game play, but sometimes when day and night cycles run on fast speeds, the shadows can chug the game.

From playing the 2013 version, I felt like I played this game before. There was no effort into making an actual economy. Each vendor does the same thing from 2013. Some vendors will buy your crops much higher then everyone else no matter what, until someone else is doing a spike buy that is only temparary. These spikes pop up and tell you who is buying what item for higher premium. This is how the game is suppose to be played. Fill your silos with as much of every crop. Wait for the high demand of a certain item, then SELL SELL!. But here is the dumbest part of the game. You can farm 1 single item in the game that sells for way more money then any crop.

Silage. It never spikes, but it never drops in price like the other crops. You get one flat rate for silage, and the game sets you up with enough money to buy everything you need to farm it too. The game gives you almost 200,000$ worth of crops in the silo's ready to sell. (That's on easy mode) on harder difficulty they buy the crops are a much lower rate then on easy. But this does not make the game harder. This only makes the game slower.

You can farm how ever you want and still make money. But Silage is still way more profitable then crops. It almost defeats the purpose of the game, since it's called "Farming Simulator" not Silage simulator lol. But that is if you are trying to max profits the fastest way. If you want you can buy all the land spots and have so many tractors and hired workers all working in unison.

I have not tried the logging equipment as of yet. I will update this review (if I can) and tell you what I think. But on the forums it pretty much is buggy and there are clipping issues with the logs and the log grabbers. I am sure it will get patched soon.

Final conclusion. If you have bought 2013, there is really no need to play Farming Sim 15. It's the same game, doing the same thing just on a different map. There are a few new goodies, and the graphics are updated. But you feel like you are not buying a new game.

If you have not played 2013. Dude, buy this game then. Seriously. Only 30$ and it's hours and hours of fun.

If the creators would make a construction sim that would be so awesome. The one thing this game does right is the bull dozer and forklift mechanics are spot on. The controls feel good, and it feels good to control the forklift and load pallets on a flat bed. The game does have clipping issues when stacking these things on the flat bed. But it does a fantastic job with the controls of these machines. I really wish they would add more forklifts, and more bulldozers and cranes and all kinds of things. I wish you would get deliveries for chicken feed, and actually have to unload the trucks with the forklift and store it in your barn. That is why I like doing the sheep farming. Love loading pallets of wool and taking a full flat bed stacked so high to the vendor and seeing so much cash go in my bank.

Anyway thanks for reading this long review.

If the controls were like Sergon simulator then the game would be fun. But these controls suck. They are so bad. Everything is in reverse. If the fingers close and open manually and are locked positioned it would be fine. The robot hand opens up if you let go of the keys. Not only do you have to aim with the arm, but you are limited on movement. If you are adjusting height, your hand is stuck in that position as you adjust, vertically you can not move horizontally or forwards/backwards. If they just copied and pasted the controls from the sergon game, it would be a fun game.

Also when you finally got your fingers around the cup handle, the game is so badly designed that your fingers clip through the handle if you jerk the mouse too fast. The cup falls to the floor. Game is unplayable with these controls.

Couldn't figure out the controls. It was hard to customize the controls in the menu. No mouse interaction besides the buttons. Can't move the plane with the mouse. I did not even want to deal with this game. If it doesn't have default mouse and keyboard controls (especially mouse controls), it's just not worth the time.

This game is great. The developers update the game regularly. All the stuff that I hated in the beta was fixed and now the game is just awesome. I highly recommend this game to anyone.
