I do not recommend this game what so ever. The controls alone are so fustraighting, you have no clear picture in your head that you know what you are doing at all times. You spend more time guessing the bumper pads in hopes something will cling. The analog stick to move the bread will sometimes be forward, or backwards depending on how you grip the bread.

The bread has no flexibility. You spend all this time to become toast, but the bread feels like toast. The bread should bend more in the middle and fold and flex better, but instead is you get this stiff cardboard bread. Trying to go vertically up anything then trying to clear a 90 degree right angle to get on top of a counter/stove, etc, it's impossible, the bread will not fold and you end up fighting to make simple right angles.

Then you got the worst camera angles I have ever seen. The camera is 100% zoomed into the bread and there is no way to zoom out to get a more clear picture of the room and your path. Not only that the camera will lock in place and get stuck on objects. If you get stuck behind a dresser, the camera will glitch into the dresser and point to the sky making it impossible to see your bread.

The game is also so glitchy that my bread will get dirty by touching containers will dirty things inside. What happens is the bread clips through things a lot, like containers and so the bread will grab an object inside a container and pull it through the container magically. Sometimes things just float on the bread, like hovering over it but will still be stuck on it some how.

Some objectives are to make yourself toast, but how you make yourself toast is the most interesting part of the game. I spent about 5 minutes getting to the toaster on the first level, just to spend 20 minutes just trying to get the dumb bread in the toaster. Then I realized there was a burner on the stove that I can easily lay on top of and become toast to beat the level. But what made me quit this horrific game is on the 2nd level the way you have to become toast is by entering a small slit in the heater on the wall to because toast. After 20 times, I gave up. It is impossible to bend the bread into the small areas.

Another thing that irritates me is that they give you such a small time for gripping with the bread. Most of the time I am fighting the camera angle in order to see what I am doing, then by fiddling with the camera my grip is losing quick so then I feel rushed. I seriously do not recommend this game.

For 2$ its good. The single player campaign is good. Yes it's very linear story, but so is Call of Duty. Homefront is very call of duty like with game play and the way it tells it's story. It gives you this thrill ride and a world you believe with lots of rich detail in the enviorments.
But once you beat the story, that's it. It's not something I went back and played again.
When I got this game it was still hot, so multiplayer was fun, it had it's own perks. The maps were dope, but I doubt people still play online.

I would not get this game. Really bad port. Wait for remaster

Audio and music bugged out in cut scenes (no audio or music / missing)
Graphic issues with lines
No 1440p support
Max gets stuck on walls. If you rub up on a wall Max will get stuck to it like a fly on sticky paper. You have to dive or jump to get unstuck from it.

I would recommend just using a PS2 emulator if you really want a retro experience. But I would wait for the remaster version of Max Payne 1 and 2. They will come soon.

Tried this game again march of 2024.

Game is a lot better. I do like the compass. Planets just feel way too small in diameter but feel really big under the layers.

Interesting vehicles like trains on a rail system, a buggy, and the other vehicle where you can connect them like a train.

My issue is the game is just boring. No real story and the alien structures you find are not that interesting nor are they difficult to "power" up. It would be better if you had to farm materials from the planet like 1 of this 1 of that. Instead it's just plug it in and it works.

Every planet seemed to be the same with just different materials, and almost the same dangers. Same alien structures. There was no real incentive to go to the other planets besides to gather the materials. I didnt understand why you would need an automative system or a production line for farming materials when most of the things you needed you only needed 1 or 3 of and once you made that item its not like you needed to make another one.

I dont know it was just bland and boring for me, no dangers like the storms have been removed, and no real goal to get to. Very boring.

I have a good computer and over time you notice the lag. When you pause it, you notice right away less lag. Then when you close it completely you notice how much lag it was producing. Its just a hog.

The game is designed to stress test your multihandling skills and it does this well. You use 2 cooks at the same time, the levels are some what "split" or "divided" by tables obsticles and levels that change on the go. As you manuver around the kitchen, the level will shift and change as you prepare the food and cook the food. This gives the game an added challenge. What makes this even more fun is when you have a friend to play with you to take control of that 2nd cook. The only down fall of this game is that it does not have online multiplayer. This is a big let down because of the nature of how this game is made. Multiplayer is made for this game, because the single player campaign, all though good, can be repatitive and stressful to complete the harder missions. Having a buddy there makes the game flow like a spring river. When a plan comes together and it is executed well. It makes the reward much more satisfying.

Last time I played this game it was on release day. This game has changed so much. All the updates for this game have been 100% free. They really turned this game around. I really really enjoy this game. There are tons of things to do in this game.

Base building
Finding a good Multitool and upgrading it
Finding a good Starship and upgrading it
Finding a good Freighter and upgrading it
Finding good Frigates to join your growing armada for your Freighter
Finding good ships to join your squadron for your Freighter
Main story line and finding all the glyphs to use the portal so you can visit unique place in the universe that might have amazing things you wouldn't find on your own.
Tons of side missions
Reputation grinding through mission board
Outlaw station - Now you can do smuggling and other outlaw stuff
Vehicles - Rovers - Mech Warrior Suits - Submarines for deep water dives and underwater base building
Economy within each solar system providing amazing trade and money making strategies
Industrial farming - Build large scale extractors and pipelines to farm rich minerals and gases to turn into a profit
Random events - (Example) Flew into a giant dragon skull floating in space that gave me ancient materials. Pirates stopping you and demand payment or be shot down. Found a jellyfish creature floating through space that talked to me. And many more..

After years and years me and many others who bought this game on launch have finally got a return on our investment, without spending a penny more. That is impressive.

Made my character, then I clicked one thing for the tutorial, then Aura the tutorial lady that helps you said to hold left click and move the mouse to rotate the camera around my ship. Well I did that, but Aura did not care that I roated my camera, and I did not have a ship to rotate around.

After 30 minutes of seriously trying to figure out what to do, with a BROKEN tutorial, this game was not playable. If you know nothing about the game, the tutorial is going to tell you how to play, and if it breaks like mine, you won't even know how to get started. I refuse to go on Youtube and look up guides just to start a game. To me that blows my mind that a game this old still can't even simplify the game and make it noob friendly to just play.

Still not sure if it is worth the 25$. Just played for only the weekend. I got to level 12, here are my thoughts.

This was the game I was waiting for since it's first appearance. But I hesitated and waited for the reviews and my gut was right, it got mediocre reviews. So I didn't buy it. Well then the free weekend actually sucked me in. I really like this games story. I watched all the cut sceens and listen to all the dialog. I really like this world that Ubisoft made. It's like Christmas exploded and then death everywhere. You walk into dead bodies and people in body bags everwhere. Christmas lights light the city and you see survivors looking for food and shelter. It's just in aww of the situation and amount of detail in the game.

I really like the games combat, but I did not like how the enemies animations going from cover to out of cover. The animations are fast, and twerky and snappy. You start to allign a nice headshot, and the guy moves out of cover like the flash and ruins your shot. Enemies like to flank you from the sides and get behind you. Enemies get suppressed by your gunfire and will not advance or peek. Enemies will actually try to supress you but the coolest thing about the AI is while I was suppresssing an enemy with my robot turret, I flanked the enemy on the side and took him out. I had enemies supress me but as long as the enemy does not see you change positions they will keep shooting your cover thinking you are still there. I sneak around and flank my enemy from the side. I really like that AI in this game. It's tactical but at the same time not too difficult. Some enemies have "armor" and are much harder to kill, but if you know how to keep your distance and take them out carefully, you can win. Yes you die sometimes in one shot, but when I go back and do it again, I noticed a sniper I did not see before. After I took out the sniper, I was able to clean up the bad guys after that. Each fight, each area is unique, to hospitals, police stations, all kinds of settings. It's a wild ride.

The map is easy to read, you click where you want to go, and you get a clear visual path on where to go. I like that it tells you what level the zones are and the missions level too.
I like the home base a lot. You start off doing a main mission by rescuing a doctor, or a hacker, or another division fighter like your self, and you watch them take over a wing in this base. You do missions for the doctor or the hacker to get more points, then you use the points to unlock sectors to that wing. By unlocking a sector for that wing, you unlock a perk or talent that you would not otherwise had. But my problem is that I did not like any of the talents or perks. Some were mostly group healing or protecting. Some skills were ok. I like the riot shield, that thing is cool. But some perks don't really need or want, or did not make a difference in the game.

The loot is probably the best part of the game. I am torn that the free weekend is gone, and now I am left with my guy with all these cool items I just got, and im only level 12. I just want to complete him, and get better clothes, or better guns. I think the guns look cool, they have there own mechanic to them. The sounds are spot on. I love the grenades too. I just want to unlock more and more.

I like this game, but after playing it here are my only things I didn't like about my experience over the weekend.

I didn't like the enemies animations, they move about too glitchy. I am so used to borderlands, the animations were good, it was just about dps and staying on target. Same with this game, but it's much harder to utilize your guns dps if the enemy is moving about in irratic ways and missing shots. I also did not like the talents and the abilities that much. I mean the riot shield and the turret was cool. But I think some skills were just pointless or not needed. Also you dont get perks unless you unlock them through unlocking more sectors in your base of operations.

Overall I enjoyed this game. I want to play more. But the low ratting makes me not get it. I think they can make this game better in a 2nd division. I know there will be a 2nd one. I have a feeling that game will be amazing. I am still waiting for this game to be less then it is now. But not sure still if I want to keep going. But I think I will wait for a new division or wait for this to be cheaper.

The game is set in Russia, some sort of mutation and radiation made monsters that eat people. The people seem to call them demons and other names for these abominations.

Pros: Good graphics, amazing voice acting and amazing gun physics. The game has great stealth and gun play. Throwing the knives feels good. The water and sound effects look and sound amazing. Rewards you for exploring and searching for extra things. Monsters look good, they are scary and fierce.

Cons: Poorly optimized, 30FPS with a 980 4GB card. Poor level design, game seems to fail at showing you the path to the next area. You get a compass but it's only a arrow, it can't tell you down or up. Sometimes not enough air filters if stuck looking for next area. If you are stuck, you can run out of filters for air and suffocate and die. It can be frustrating but just have to look extra hard for openings that can lead to new area.

Game had a great atmosphere and it immerses you into this world that is believable. Only down side is the air filter management system, it has some areas where you can not progress because NPC are talking or walking, which cuts into your air filter time. But great game play and creepy vibes when playing. Voice acting was spot on.
