combat is fine but rest is so shallow and repetitive... I want to get to the point where I am doing 500v500 battles but the renown grind to unlock kingdom creation and uncap the party size to that point is god awful.

If playing on Steam Deck use Proton GE to avoid the freeze on startup. Look up a guide on how to install it, since there's a lot of links I don't think I can include them here.
