Purchased on Early Access, with no regrets. Game turned out to be quite fun, polished, and thus far exceedingly entertaining. Excellent gameplay, good movement, fun combat, amazing and diverse cast of enemies and non-enemies, and a whole massive backyard to explore from a perspective some of us still have nostalgia over... getting shrunked.

Massively fun. Want to play with friends next.

So far, the game has been better than I honestly expected it to be.
World feels more open.
Characters feel deeper and more interactive.
Everything feels bigger.
The combat is fluid, the environments are gorgeous, and the writing so far has picked up with the same depth, heart, and tense conflicts that I was surprised to find in the Fallen Order, with polish.
Combat is fun, controls are tight, movement is fluid and moving like a Jedi when your timing is on point is pure ecstasy.
No noticeable graphic glitches or bugs, frame drops only in transition areas when loading, and only rarely noticeable at all.
An absolute delight to play so far.

Absolutely stellar survival, exploration, platforming, combat in the style of Dark Souls but with all the trappings and feel of an authentic Star Wars Adventure, the good kind, the kind you remember for a long, long time.

They simply don't make games like this anymore.
Though they try.
This game is the type where you are given a well crafted environment, and allowed to approach the goals and the challenges at your own pace, with the variety of approaches being less a fabricated and artificed selection of paths, but an organic multitude of possibilities born out of a solid set of game concepts and interactions between the game's systems and physics that allow you that kind of freedom to explore and play the game at your pace that only old titles like System Shock provided.
I really cannot recommend it strongly enough.

11/10, would have my mind erased just to play this for the first time again!

Absolutely solid game for a pseudo-MMO.
Has a variety of storylines that make up the missions.
Group and Community activities.
Trade system is pretty straightforward with in game vendors and a variety of weapons that you'll recognize from other games.
The original game as first experienced by players when it released is long gone. While many of that is bug fixes and rebalancing, the era of feeling like you were the last person alive after a holocaust is now replaced by a variety of personable and interesting NPC's who you will come to know through conversations and radio messages. Originally it was the stories of survivors of the nukes that you only knew through the notes and recordings they left behind. There was an odd sense of lonliness and out-of-timeliness to reading the trials and tribulations, hopes and fears, of a person you stood over the skeletal corpse of. Knowing how their story ended before even reading or learning their story was an odd and unique experience in a game.

I miss it.

Still, hella fun. Worth the buy.

A deep and well researched sci-fi setting, rare as it lacks FTL.
Using that as a foundation, the actual game feels a lot like Serenity/Firefly. I call it a Serenity/Firefly simulator.
It reminded me of my first impression and the first description of Serenity.

In Serenity, you go from a Futuristic Civil War to a scene where they're scavenging equipment off a starship illegally to trying to sell it to a border moon who's primary form of transport is horseback coupled with small electric carts.

It's an amazing Flavor and mixture of cultures and technology.

I highly recommend this game if you like survival game, dwarf fortress, civilization, and prefer cutting edge depth and system mechanics over cutting edge graphics, though the graphics are adorable and do the job well.

This game is never uninstalled on my system since I got it.

A rare 5/5 from me. Would die from infection and space syphilus again. 10/10

Ever wish you had a bigger beard?
Ever wish you were shorter?
Ever wish you were trapped in a dark hole?
Ever wish you could make a living killing bugs and hitting things?
Ever want to relive the Alien Franchise, but from a waist-high vantage point?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions... Then surprisingly... there's a game for you.

It's Deep Rock Galactic.

And it's Brilliant.

This is not the Colonial Marines game your parents played.
This is the Shiz.

Absolutely hands down one of the all time best and definitely my favorite 4x Strategy Games.
A Turn-Based Real Time Strategy Hybrid. Turns take place on the TBS map, with RTS battles of epic proportions.
From Massive Fleet Battles to Social Intrigue, from Trade to Diplomacy.
The races are unique, the game is fluid, the single player is incredible, and the multi-player engaging and deep.

If you don't own this and are a lover of 4x Strategy games...

Get it.
