Everything about Astroneer is adorable, brilliant, and fun.
The content is already impressive, the foundation for game play is incredible, and the road map and constant updates from the developers is simply awesome.

It's visually stunning, adorable, and a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stuffy and done-to-death open world survial genre. It blends space building and survival with fun a lot more elegantly and successfully than Space Engineers.

Definitely worth the full price.

(Update to my review as of Base Building Update)

What I said above... x4!

Absolutely at least as much fun as the original arcade.
A lot more fun and content, tactics and gameplay.
Each character feels unique.
Very high replay value.
Enjoyable co-op with friends, great to practice playing by yourself.

Worth the full purchase price, and definitely a must-grab if you see it on sale for $5. Got more than my money out of playing it, and enjoyed all of it.

Can't say that about many games these days.

Comparable and possibly exceedingly so to Fallout and Fallout 2, in complexity, depth, and approaches to the game.
Expansive world, incredible single player and multiplayer experience.
Absolutely worth the buy if you enjoy character and story driven RPGs.
Combat is in depth, but I will update my review upon delving fully into the combat system.

It is out of all the games I've purchased recently, the most rewarding for the money I spent in time and enjoyment its given me, and I'm not even finished with the game. Far from it.

If you enjoyed Fallout, Fallout 2, The Elder Scrolls series, and other deep RPG's that modern RPG's have moved away from, with all the polish and modern tech of a triple A game, definitely give Divinity 2: Original Sin a go.

You won't regret it.

The game is riddled with microtransactions, but you expect that in a Free to Play.

What bothers me is that when closing the game, it doesn't always shut down and clean up correctly, often requiring me to restart my computer before I can use my 3D card for any 3d applications.

This has happened on three different computers in my home, so I think its an issue with the Radeon Brand of Graphics cards. Each has differing models of Radeon and one even has a different operating system. The only commonality besides the game is the Radeons cards.

As a game idea, it's alright. Mad Max sans the open world in exchange for arena battles, but with the addition of much more customizable vehicles.

As long as you pay attention to weight, you can build all kinds of cars by snapping the parts on whever they fit and they would be upright.

While I found it a bit repetitive, for many people this would be an enjoyable car modding and car battle arena game.

This is literally one of the worst ports.

No mouse.
Uses WASD to in place of a gamepad if you have one, making it impossible to even get past the tutorial.

Tried it out during a free weekend.
Wasn't worth the time I spent trying to get around the tutorial.
Isn't worth the money.

Based on the Multiplayer feel of the game so far, it is reminiscent of Bushido Blade on the old Playstation.
I highly recommend the MP as a 30-40 dollar value, with the extra classes and a decent single player campaign, this may actually be worth the asking price of $60.

Good graphics, great controls, skill based melee combat that feels meaty and crunchy.
Bit of Dark Souls meets Bushido Blade, with a nice Dynasty Warriors feeling MOBA mode, that I admit, is fun.

I would recommend.

Either the negative reviews are from a previous period, or this game has changed since then.
I found it engaging, fun, immersive, and very enjoyable.
Definitely worth the sale price, and possibly worth the full price.
Haven't tried the DLC, but I am told by those who do have it they are of the opinion it makes the game fun.
Since I find the game fun even without the DLC, I am interested in checking that out too.
Not bad for a Ubisoft game.

I bought this game when it wasn't free to play.
Now it's free to play.
Huh...

Good thing I got it on sale.

From the freeplay weekend. I get the impression this could get redundant and old quickly.

However, that impression is greatly impacted by the fact they are coming out with new operatives and new maps. The maps are the key. The new operatives may actually imbalance the game, though I've heard complaints about balance, I've found none. With the beginning 'recruit' they give you for freeplay, I've found I'm quite effective in combat with a variety of weapons.

I am considering purchasing it while its on sale as a result. I defintely do not enjoy it enough to recommend it for $50. However, if on sale for say, less than $30, as it is now at the time of this review, it is not an unwise buy if you enjoy the First Person Shooter genre of games (I have since Battlefield loved Multiplayer online intense firefight combat).

This game has a lot of options that other games lack. The innovative use of tactical reinforcement and barricading of rooms and doors is a pretty neat twist.

The ability to blow thorugh walls really brings home some immersion, finally a game where 'Guns and Explosives > Plaster'.

Give it a shot, it would be nice if they had some sort of Demo. For $50, many people are not gonna risk that kinda gamercoin on a game that deviates so far from the original titles. And deviate it does.

Careful tactical insertion and tight teamwork win this game, but they are hard to do with the constantly shifting groups of players and maps.

Still, probably the most fun you'll get for a semi-tactical shooter at the moment. Better than many of the other shooters I've been exposed to and played over the last year and a half.

This is possibly one of the greatest Zombie Survival Games ever made.
Don't let the simple graphics fool you, they do nothing to detract from the fun.
Building, Hunting, Farming, Scavenging, and surviving waves of zombies or sneaking past hordes...

It's all here, everything you want from a Zombie Survival Experience.

It honestly puts Day-Z to shame.

And its free. What have you got to lose, but your free time!

I HIGHLY recommend.

Have fun gaming, peeps.
