It's the good part of Spiderman games, in 2D, with no pressure. It's kind of the anti-Dark Souls; a relaxing game that doesn't punish the player at any point.

Early Access Review
Shaping up to be a nice little game; sort of a combination between Shadowrun Returns, and Jagged Alliance: Online. It's certainly got its share of warts to work out yet (This review is late Early Access), but there's a lot of flavor here.

Looking forward to the final version

Feels kind of aimless and unfocused to me. Might just not be my thing.

I absolutely adored this game back in the day. Gorgeous art design, beautiful music, and if you ignore the "social interaction" system, (which is the most effecitve simulation of antisocial personality disorder I have seen in a video game, shaming the GTA series), it was a really fun ARPG.

It has NOT aged well.

There are so many games that do this better, for less. I found it much less pleasant than reinstalling Kingdoms of Amalur. If you really want to play a Fable game on PC, Fable 3 is pretty good, and should be nice and affordable.

But seriously. I was thoroughly disappointed.

The other games in this series are enjoyable experiences on PC.

This? This is very not.

Welp. I was really excited for this game, and it's probably awesome.

Problem.

It just refuses to run on my laptop, despite more than clearing the minimum requirements. After spending two hours messing with the various video settings, I have given up and uninstalled. Really, *really* disappointing - though I suppose this is what I get for buying a new game instead of waiting until problems like this are known.

Gonna go sulk now.

Good god. The update is delightful, the new UI is much more intuitive, the new content is a lot of fun, there are more fun little details (ballistic 3-piece suits! Finally!) and in general, it's more of everything that made Dragonfall so great in the first place.

This is probably my favorite turn-based RPG in the past I-don't-know-how-long. If you've never played it before, and you like turn-based RPG's, you should probably stop reading this and just buy it. I've gotten roughtly 4x the enjoyment out of this game than I have out of most $60 titles, at 1/4 the price.

TL:DR: YESSSSS.

This was way more fun than it had any right to be.

Fantastic SRPG. Take the European analouge to D&D (The Dark Eye 4th edition), in a Witcher/Dragon Age-type dark fantasy tale, and give it very solid turn -based combat.

Don't play this game for what it's not (a free-wheeling sandbox, forgiving), play it for what it is, which is an occasionally bruising tactical RPG.
