You can shoot testicles in this game - much more satisfying than a headshot.

Colluded with a daughter of another daimyo and persuaded her to work as my retainer. Several months later she defected to another daimyo, whom I had consider attacking for a while.

Captured that traitor during the siege. Executed every single captured officer.

10/10 Life lesson learned on how to deal with traitors.

Fun for like, the first 100 hours - especially when you're playing as a group of 4. Then game will start to become a repetitive grind. Wait for Steam sale and buy the 4-pack for you and your friends to play.

Skip if you don't have any friends.

It's one of those JRPG you actually play for the plot and characthers, and not for boobs.

It's like TES with guns and lasers and nukes. Buy the GoTY version for best value.

The game itself is great, with lots of mechs and modifications you're bound to find something that suit your playstyle. The reason I don't recommend this game is because the SEA server is basically dead, and you'll have to play matchmaking in NA or EU server with 300 ping, if not more.

Avoid if you're not playing in NA or EU, and you're not willing to play with latency issues.

As in almost all game by EA: good game, ♥♥♥♥ port.

This one however is just too good a game to pass up. Playing with a controller in particular can save you a lot of frustration with the mouse sensitivity issue.

Did you enjoy the game? Hell yeah.

Do you recommend this game? No.

Game feels too short and repetitive, you can complete the game under 20 hours and that's being generous. I've played this game for 30+ hours and the only reason I've yet to complete the game is because I've been dying to warchiefs on purpose to farm level 25 runes. It was fun at the beginning but gets old very soon.

Also the game feels almost too easy. The only time you'll die is because you actually wanted to die. Counter system and finishing moves are overpowered.

Also game crashes on several occasions.

I'd recommend this game only if it's on sale. It's a shame, really.

A lot of games provide you moral choices with little to none consequences. A lot of us would pick the option that provide the most benefit without thinking twice.

Kill A, loot his armor. Betray B, take his cool horse. Then we'll get on with our in-game life, enjoying our loot without the slightest dent in our conscience.The reverse is also true: good guys can take the good option without missing out the opportunities. Refuse to kill A, and still get a kick-ass armor. Do not betray B, and he'll reward you with, guess what, his cool horse.

War of mine is not one of those game. This game can and will force you to either do horrible things or risk your survival. Choices are permanent in every gameplay. There's no last save point, no quick load - either you live with the consequences or start anew.

This game is guaranteed to haunt your conscience.

Edit edit edit: -1000 MMR because of bug and Valve went radio silence, there's not clear indication whether or not they will revert the MMR. Now I'm stuck in Archon a.k.a toxic bracket. 1000 MMR is almost a year's worth of progress, I earned it, and I did nothing to deserve this. I guess this is as good as any time to quit this game.
