You'll bash your head multiple times against seemingly impossible bosses, dungeon layout tailored to kill you in the most frustrating ways- exhausting your mental and physical health.

Then one fateful run you had it. Everything suddenly turned your way: near-deaths, last second dodge, timed counters. You did everything right solely from gut reaction and precise decision, learnt by heart from previous deaths. You landed the final blow, and the message "Victory Achieved" appeared on your screen.

You then scream a scream of raw emotion.

Once you experience that moment, you will always be back for more.

A unique aspect to Bastion, and possibly the reason of it's positive reception, is how the game engages the player: instead of having dialogue boxes, you have a voice narrating your every move in the game, whether you're countering enemy attacks, switching your weapons, and even falling off cliffs or dying. This gives a persistent idea that even the simplest action you take in the game is meaningful, an idea that I guarantee you'll enjoy.

A small catch is that Bastion doesn't offer much aside from the first playthrough, but that's still a 10-20 hours of a good game, mind you, and this game definitely worth the price.

I finished the tutorial levels on android some time before and the first thing that came to my mind after seeing this ♥♥♥♥ on Steam was that I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THIS GAME JUST SO I CAN DOWNVOTE THIS ♥♥♥♥!

1. Free to play, pay to win - or, to be precise, pay to play, pay more to win. It's an energy based game so you have to either A) wait for your energy to recharge to continue playing, or B) pay to restore your energy. WHOEVER THOUGHT THAT WAITING A COUPLE OF HOURS TO CONTINUE PLAYING A PC GAME IS FINE IS CLEARLY A MORON.

2. There's nothing tactical about this game. You place unit on a 3x7 playing field, after which your unit will proceed and do stuff on their own.

3. Your choice has no meaning to the story outcome - BECAUSE THERE'S NO CHOICE. BASICALLY THE ONLY MEANINGFUL CHOICES YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE ARE A) WHETHER OR NOT YOU'RE GOING TO SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME, AND B) IF YOU'RE GOING TO PLAY THIS GAME AT ALL.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A SQUARE-ENIX TACTICAL RPG GAMES, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STICK TO FINAL FANTASY TACTICS.

Imagine the Game of Thrones taking place in the world of Zootopia. Lie, bribe, and plunder your way to claim the throne. In the world of Armello, the end justifies the means.

Pros: Armello provides you with 8 unique heroes, each with their own traits and playstyle, and 4 winning conditions. This makes the game balanced to each hero (provided you play your hero to their strength) while giving the game an excellent replayability value. Tutorial is decent, covering the basic gameplay without spoiling the gameplay too much.

Cons: Lack of story/singleplayer campaign might be appaling to those who play games for their storyline.

This game is very punishing if you have no idea of what to do in order to survive. There's no clear instruction of what to do other than don't die, don't starve, and don't go insane - and there's no tutorial.

Often times you'll wander the wasteland finding nothing but rocks and boulders, praying to the merciful gods that you'll soon reach the sabana where you can finally settle down, living from the hunt and start preparing for Winter. Other times you'll find a good spot fairly soon into the game, only to realize that there's no boulders nearby and you're pretty much stuck because you can't build advance structures.

You WILL die, starve, and go insane multiple times before finally figuring out the do's and don'ts. Once you get past this point, you will finally start having fun.

Barely reached the London Port with just enough fuel and severely damaged hull.

Unwittingly sold the only engine I own to have enough money to repair hull, and then proceed to spent the rest to woo an officer. Now I'm too broke to buy a new engine. Thus my ship is doomed here, not in the glorious zee, but in the port of London.

Really wish Steam would change the binary recommendation system to a spectrum based (eg. on the scale of 1-10 how would you recommend this game).

Played this game and didn't enjoy it. It's not a bad game itself - it's just that this game is not for everyone. You either love it or hate it, and unfortunately I belong to the later group.

Praise Gaben for the refund system.

Hey son I was getting bored so I decided to exhaust what's left of the family fortune to summon Ctulhu and other Lovecraftian nightmares, so be a good boy, return home and clean up my mess. I'm outta here.

It's like Dead Space but instead of guns they give you a video recorder so you can record your last moments.
