Finally. A game that deals with some of the very compelling ideas of science fiction. I don't think there is a better scifi game plot wise available. Also, it looks good and plays well. If you are into plot driven SP games that really explore tough issues then is for you. Worth every penny of the full asking price. What a breath of fresh air this game is! They really nailed it.

OK, finally! This is the Carmageddon that I was hoping for when I kickstarted this thing. It is well optimized and plays like the old Carmageddon games. If you liked the previous ones (mainly 1 and 2) this will definitely be up your alley.

The original Skyrim was amazing and now I have to unfortunately say that this special edition is just garbage. Worse audio quality, a terrible yellow haze over everything, lighting effects that are unrealistic neo-star trek like, no FOV slider, >60fps breaks physics.... it is just not ok for a 2016 game. Original skyrim with mods looked WAY better and it looks like they did nothing for us PC users other than get it out for us to make mods in order to sell console copies. Great.

Early Access Review
If you like exploration, survival and the thrill of th eunknown you have come to the right place. This is one of the only survival games I care to play only on my own as it really has that element of discovering the unknown which just lends itself so well to the single player experience. Everything about this game is done well and the developers are clearing working hard on this title and really care about their game. It feels fresh in a world saturated by survival games which is really a feat in itself. If you are looking for a really good single player survival game look no further as you have found the best choice out there.

If you are looking for a faithful old school RTS in the vein of Unreal Tournament '99/2k4 look no further. This game is awesome and hits all the high notes that those super classic UT games hit. It is not as big in scope but it is the best thing so far that I have played that captures that feeling. The only problem is that the online community isn't that big which sucks as this game is really good. That being said it has bots and you can host your own server to play with friends so there is tons of content to play even if the online community is lacking. Also, it is quite well optimised so it should run pretty well on a full range of gaming PCs. For the price there is no reason not to buy the full version and access the full content plus the workshop content.

This is one of the best couch multiplayer games I have ever played. All of my friends love it and we all laugh raucously while yelling out orders to each other. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for two to four player shenanigans as it is worth every penny. The only caveat is that I do not know if it would hold up with just one player.

ARMA 3 is a love hate relationship: best mil-sim ever and one of the worst engines ever brought into creation.

ARMA 3 is the most versatile military simulation available and the multiplayer modes are endless. This is the true PC experience when it comes to sheer scope and magnitude. I have put the most hours into this game when it comes to FPS games in the last decade and will continue to play it until the next ARMA comes out.

On the other side of the matter, ARMA is the WORST optimized game I have ever played. It barely makes use of more than one core which effectively makes all GPUs moot and runs at a terrible framerate for everyone. It is beyond ridiculous that any developer would be ok with the absolutely horrible optimization that this engine has. It is really so bad I am having a hard time putting it into words. ARMA has bad optimization for the days of dual cores never mind for today's standards. It is completely embarrassing for the developers to have this shoddy excuse for an engine in 2016. With that being said I love this game and I hate the engine with a burning passion.

Now that this game is all patched up it is the true Dungeon Keeper successsor. As a huge fan of Dungeon Keeper 2 I am very pleased with this game.

Early Access Review
The game looks like garbage and plays even worse. It has been in development for too long to be optimised so poorly. On top of this they have decided to be the first developers to push out paid DLC for an early access game. This developer has been banished to obscurity for me now. Screw them.

Updating after playing a bit out of early access and after a few content packs.

This is one of the times I wish steam had a star rating or something instead of a yes/no system as I would give it 3 out of 5 stars although with the stupid steam rating system it is a thumbs down.

The game looks and runs well but just does not capture that feeling which the original had. This instalment feels much more like a shooter developed for consoles where all of the guns kind of feel the same as there are no real mechanics involved. I really enjoyed the original and although this is a decent game I just don't see myself playing it long term like I did the original. They definitely put some decent effort into the game and they are supporting it quite well post launch but it just doesn't have the same appeal as the original. If feels like a step back rather than forward in terms of mechanics/gameplay so even though it runs well and looks nice I think your money could be spent on a shooter that is a bit more fun and doesn't feel like such a generic shooter.

It is sad because Tripwire is such an excellent developer and I have no idea why they missed the mark on this one while all of their other games are superb. It looks like Rising Storm 2 Vietnam is on the horizon and if you want a Tripwire FPS I would wait for that and skip this one over. It isn't bad by any means although it isn't particularly good. It just feels like a generic class based shooter with nothing special to offer.
