It definitely suffers from similar issues to other titles in the same genre (Being picky about what it considers to actual;y count as X, the education system isn't very good, etc.), but beyond those common issues and a few campaign missions being pretty poorly designed its an excellent game. The animals all look great and behave appropriately, the creation tools are incredible and allow for some truly amazing zoos, excellent soundtrack, and fairly rational guest behavior.

Writing this as someone with an HTC Vive, so I can't speak to the technical issues people are having. For me, its worked flawlessly.

Anyways, as someone who has 100%ed all three of the recent Sniper Elite Trilogy I would definitely say this is more V2 than it is 3 or 4. That's mildly disappointing, but there's a reason V2 was able to revive the series.

It has all the accessibility options you could want. The bullet cam is about as well featured as it can be. Really, its just a Sniper Elite game in VR. Like if you wanna know what the gameplay is like, it's Sniper Elite V2 with some of the features like gun leveling for 3 and 4. Not gonna blow you away graphically, but it certainly isn't ugly.

I gotta say, the reviews really undersold me on this game. I had assumed that it was just an RPG roguelite with a basic story and meme YouTubers. Turns out I start it up, play through the quite fun tutorial, get through an interesting first chapter of the main story, then get told to do whatever I want. Now for the last five hours I've been going on an awesome sci-fi adventure story as a space pirate with my anachronistic crew of weirdos. The combat is certainly less than perfect, but it definitely seems that the longer a campaign lasts the better the combat gets.

As someone with 1000 hours in Terraria, 250 in No Mans Sky, and 196 in Starbound I'll say this. As a base game, Starbound is good not great. If you take the time to mod it or set unique goals for yourself, then it can compete with Terraria.

Very fun game that should hav been F2P. It does definitely ahve the benefit now that its on sale on friggin everything though, so the palyerbase gets a big boost from Humble, Game pass Pc, xbox, Switch, etc. Havent had any issues whatsoever finding a game.

Excellent spinoff for the series

At first I wasn't entirely sure. The first mission or two are quite short. Funny, but very short. However after playing the next 3 missions and the new sixth mission I can say it's absolutely worth it. The sixth episode alone is probably the size of the two episodes prior to it in terms of content.

It's definitely not perfect, but I'd say if you look at some gameplay and feel that you can deal with some of the inherent jank then its a lot of fun. I really enjoy the concept of the monkey mechanic. Luckily the devs have stated that they plan to support the game for quite some time which is great news and means there's a good chance they can address a lot of the more base issues.

I wanna get it out of the way that this is like a 5.1/10 positive review. In no way would i buy this DLC full price, but luckily I got the base game and the DLC for $20.
Basic summary: Its a time loop story, ala groundhogs day, but they don't do a fantastic job of taking advantage of what makes that genre work. What I mean by that is that in other time loop media you'll see things like people doing certain actions because they know there are no consequences and rarely doing the exact same thing twice (because thats very boring). The first only happens like twice, which are both fun moments, but they're just brief glimpses of what could have been. The second is the biggest issue with this DLC. You LITERALLY do the same day four times. What do I mean by that? After day one, no side quests change. Period. What was new on day one is it for the rest of the game. It is... intensely annoying and boring.
That being said, Bloop is a great character, I love the expansions this DLC makes to the MMPP universe, when the DLC isnt literally identical to the past day its actually very good, and the new cards are pretty decent.
