Simon you should add parallax graphics to the background so it moves! Looking forward to the full release.

Early Access Review
I think I've probably gotten most of the playtime I'm going to get out of this game, so I guess now is as good a time as ever to write a review. This game has convinced me that idle games can be very, very good. Its mechanics have a decent amount of depth to them and making progress is incredibly satisfying. The meta for making substantial progress and scaling becomes clear pretty quickly, and though it's not bad at first, it gets a little stale for a game that you could be spending hundreds, maybe thousands of hours on. The mechanics do get shaken up and some become more powerful over time, so I'm fully convinced that the relative "meta" probably changes if you make it farther than I have, I just wish things got changed up a bit sooner. My one other minor complaint about the game is that the "AI points" are pretty annoying. It locks quality of life features that should probably be enabled by default behind a points system. I believe you can buy points for money, though it's not hard to get them by grinding a little so I definitely wouldn't call this a paywall. Support the developer if you can - they made a good game! Just mildly annoying that QoL features are pretty limited to start out with. Still, Unnamed Space Idle is easily my favorite idle game out there, after having tried about 8 others. This game is fantastic, and definitely worth checking out!

Not a bad mod by any means, especially if you are as desperate for more HL2 content as I am. The environment design is the main draw for sure, and the only parts I found particularly annoying were the platforming and, to a lesser degree, combat. I wound up noclipping through most of the platforming in chapter 3. The combat is a really mixed bag - I would have enjoyed the mod a lot more if they had cut the amount of enemies in half. I get what they were going for, putting you in the shoes of someone without specialized equipment or many weapons. It definitely added to the unease, but the enemies hit a little too hard for not having a crosshair, being able to sprint or having more than two guns.

The game gets grindy in spots but is a very good experience. They basically built on everything that the first game did and pretty much all aspects end up about 20% better. MMO-esque side quest design gets old, but I'm glad they saved the grindier content for optional stuff. Some enemies wind up being huge bullet sponges, though I don't mind it too much since the mechanics are satisfying enough for me to stay engaged. The biggest draws for me were definitely the environment design and combat gameplay. I'm pleasantly surprised with the story given the game's reputation for obnoxious writing - it's nothing groundbreaking, but the plot is very clearly a step up from the first game and I actually cared a lot more about the characters. Definitely worth playing if you like the visuals and don't get much combat fatigue.

CS:CZ is a decent game if you know what you're getting into and buy it on sale or in a bundle. It really just offers a singleplayer Counter-Strike experience with a half-baked team selection system and new maps. The highlight of this game really was the new maps for me, and was the main thing that made the experience worth spending time on. Not sure if I'd go out of my way to get this game, but if you happen to get it in a Valve pack it's worth spending a couple hours on.

Tried playing this game and I think the gameplay loop just isn't for me. It's still a great time, but it gets just a bit too repetitive for my tastes at my skill level. I'll almost certainly revisit this game some day and love it. The environment design, mechanics, and storytelling are all wonderfully executed, so I can't help but recommend this game.

Good game, though in a lot of ways it feels like a product of its time. Definitely still enjoyable, though not necessarily worth going out of your way for unless you like the game's environment. Severe performance issues on the GOTY Enhanced version made me drop the game before reaching the end, but I'll probably finish or replay it one of these days. The memory leak problems escalate through the game and make me hesitant to recommend this version, but I've heard mods could help.

The main reason I'd suggest playing this game is to experience the weird design decisions and fun 2004 jank. It's not terrible, but as a successor to Deus Ex this game sits in a weird place. The game itself isn't bad on its own and there ARE some really nice features and elements that it shares with the original. I really enjoyed still finding lore everywhere, everything optional always had some utility or tradeoff, and the narrative still feels like it has that core Deus Ex structure to it. I still didn't get to the ending due to frustrating gameplay and stability problems. The game crashes upon level loads and when gathering items from time to time. I honestly find this game quite charming despite its never-ending flaws, and it's quite clear that a bunch of people on the development team cared. Check out Ross Scott's video on the game for more opinions I agree with!

Bought this game after seeing Ross Scott's video about it one too many times, and I enjoy it. So far I've just been playing the campaign mode, though I want to try out some mods eventually. A few tracks have really strange layouts that can make the game tiring to play for long periods of time, but I like the consistency and relative calmness of this game. It gives me something to do for 20 minutes while I watch a video, and for that in particular Trackmania Valley is a nice game to have.
