Imagine Black Desert Online in 2005 but in 2021 (Yikes);
The combat will probably keep you for a while, but everything else around this game is honestly poo poo butter.

- Terrible graphics
- Terrible UI
- Content that is locked and only available at certain hours of the day. (Super annoying)
- No trading
- No raids
- Gearing up your character is pure garbage.
- Unbalanced PvP: Slayer's kit is just way to good. Assassin is also pretty dank. (Pick either one of those if you play this game)
- MTX Costumes are really bad (skimpy ones will probably be later, probably more ripped ideas from BDO).

The positives:
+ Boob slider
+ Low budget porno music at the login screen.
+ Custom User Character Presets (BDO has this and I have all ways enjoyed this feature)
+ Most of the player base that really enjoy this game are nice to talk to. Kudos on that at least.

Overall:
If you REALLY have nothing else to do (like me) then it is a okay time sink.

Story started out bland, ended up being a banger. Happy this was my first Tales of game.

What I did like;
+ Great Combat
+ Great Character designs
+ Over the top Anime
+ Pretty decent story
+ Music is SO GOOD (Boss Battle Theme being my favorite)

What I don't like;
- Optional Pay 2 Win DLC (instantly buy level 80+ more)
- Recolored Enemies (felt like I seen more recolors the more I played)
- Poor New Game+ (IMO you should keep all your skills, costumes, ect instead you only get Alphens haircut and new Rare Spawns)

edit; NG+ requires Owls/Artifacts in order to carry over certain things that you normally would have missed on your first play through. This can be either a Pro/Con to some.

Over all. I enjoyed my time.

Thank you to those that have commented to tell me these things as I did not know on my first run/play through. I really appreciate it and I am starting to enjoy it a little more with this knowledge in mind. :D

This game is like walking in to a public restroom. Everything is wet and gross.

- Terrible UI Elements (Escape will break and no longer work from time to time)
- Anti-Cheat constantly running in the background even after closing the game (why?)
- Character models look like poop, who wears there pants up to there stomach?
- Infinite Loading bugs, enjoy a free win while trying to load into the game.
- Random character falling animation in lobby making you stuck, forcing you to relaunch the game.
- Character creation is lack luster. Want more options? Buy the battle pass or wait for a flash sale.
- Melee is wonky and slow.
- FPS issues unless you're running a 3060+ GPU

+ It's raining 24/7 here. It helped me fall a sleep during my Infinite Loading issues for free wins. Sweet.

Lets be honest with our self's. This game is going to flop and we are only playing it at the moment because its the "new" kid on the block.

After finishing the game in 2 days/13 hours. I have to say I am impressed. The world is amazing, the music is fantastic, the characters are pretty good, and the game play was challenging and exciting. I can honestly say it is worth the purchase. There are some bugs here and there, but it did not take away from my enjoyment of the game at all. I really hope this game has DLC in the future.

Its really not that bad as some of the comments make it out to be.
But it does feel like a 20-30$ game at best. That much I do agree with.

As someone that is fortunate to play this game with only 1 T-Pose in his experience with the game, I have to say. This game is absolutely amazing. Story was really solid, the music is fantastic, the world is super immersive. So for me, personally. 2020 is going out with a smile on my face in regards of gaming.

I feel bad for those that have struggled with the game, maybe even refunded it. All I do ask is I hope you give it another try later on down the road. I really think its worth it.

Excellent game, that is sort of like Lost Ark that looks like Diablo 3 but with more polish to it. If you can't get your hands on Lost Ark, I would consider picking this up instead.

All time favorite MMORPG. There is so much content to keep you busy, the community is super friendly, so to me, its worth the purchase and time investment.

A masterpiece that is needed in everyone's library.
