I can't play this. I first thought there must be a graphics driver issue, but the developer said, nope, that's how it is designed. You have absolute blackness everywhere except for the flashlight and the glowing things, which give it all the illusion of floating mid-air. That would be fine, except that there is this dust floating everywhere that is bright white. So now it looks like you are going through a star-field. It creates an illusion that is unrealistic and physically uncomfortable.
Okay, so I think I will just bite the bullet and play, because I am all ready for a walking simulator, exploration game, but the gameplay is just as baffling as the graphics. It makes me think this is a novice attempt at level design. There is no explaination given for why things are happening. There are some robots in the first room, then in the second room another set of robots kills you, then you materialize on a bed in another room, where there is a different robot ignoring you, but then he blows up suddenly. The extent of my exploring up to then was a ventalation grill that was removed and a paper scrap ripped from a novel. Hello? I need a lot more sensory information about what is happening around me, or at least give me a sense of where I am located. It absolutely feels like a set of eyes floating in a star-field that occasionally gets sent to a bed every so often because of random events.

Works pretty well on ubuntu linux (gnome keychain opens on start). A word clicking game, for the most part. There are some puzzles, but it plays out like a visual novel. You won't be typing any code, that's for sure. I can't stop thinking that this could have been done in HTML. Even still, I think it is a worthwhile entertainment pursuit, as long as you know what you're getting here.

Runs perfect on ubuntu linux. An emersive narriative experience. More than a visual novel, it is a way to jump into the story with sounds, art, and style. You have got to be in the mood for this type of thing, as this is a serious endeavor. There is a board game called Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, that give you a map, newspaper, phone directory, to suppliment the story. That experience reminds me of this game. If you want to settle into a cup of tea and dig into photographs and newspapers from an England and Scotland of the 1910s, all of which are woven into an interesting narriative, then you will really enjoy this title. Otherwise (and more probably), you will find this terribly dull. I recommend this to people who are looking for an intellectual experience, but don't feel like picking up a book at this moment. On completing this visual novel, the list of credits rolled on for some time, and I knew that I would never grasp exactly how much effort went into creating this software. Between the hand painted scenes, the very excellent voice acting, the high-res photographs, great mouse-driven gestures, and the well placed chapter checkpoints, the story keeps delivering excellent game assets all the way to the finale. Bravo! Bravo!

This game is so good. It is ridiculously short (each game is measured in seconds), but the game play is so good. It is just so exciting to play, with the excellent music and controls. I have been coming back to it over and over, and I only just recently been getting the hang of it. UBERMOSH is a game that you can pickup, play over a few minutes, and put it down feeling like you had a really good time.

Update: I recently got an achievement in ubermosh. This is the first one in all the many, many times that I have played it. Ubermosh makes you earn the title of hardboiled. This is not the type of game that gives you a prize for making it through the tutorial.

Super chill space rougelike. Took me a while to understand how the game is played, but once I saw how you swept through sectors, collecting upgrades, I appreciated the flow of the game. Over the multiple-life campaign, collect experience points to improve the starting ship. Eventually move toward more difficult levels. There are a couple good strategy guides in the steam community pages that helped me get started, and I just killed my first boss today. I think there is a lot of replayability here, and I really like how they put this together.

Ugh.. another visual novel created in RPGMaker.. lots and lots of mashing the "continue button" to advance each couple words.. Few opportunies to move characters, and all item collection and interactions are simple linear progressions. Watch a video before purchasing, to see if this game style is for you.

Ahhhhhhhh! this game is aweeeeeeesome! Loved the game Road Rash as a school kid, and now this game is all that and a bag of chips. If you have ever watched Mad Max's road battle and thought, "good, but it could use a heavy metal guitar soundtrack and more kicking motorbikes off bridges..." then this game is for you. Great game to play for short durations to get out frustrations. I am literally screaming at the monitor, with a combination enthusiasm, rage, and joy, like some deranged madman, whenever I play Road Redemption.

I wrote a game guide for new players. That's the only guide I have ever made, so you know I am a big fan.

Really did not like it, although it worked fine on ubuntu linux.
No written story. Entirely linear game path, often with character moving automatically.
A silent, slow moving video made in RPG-Maker, where you occassionally press an directional arrow to advance.

Shockingly small walking simulator with nothing to see. Walk across the whole island in a couple minutes. No structures to explore, no words, and zero interactions. All sounds are the same electronic modulation, with only tiny changes. I think the description and reviews were deceptive. I had very low expectations for this one, and I still got disappointed. This is a proof of concept. Please, watch the videos, because those show the entire scope of this title.
