So cozy, so simple, so cute, so silly, so fun.
I haven't had this fun in public lobbies since TF2 back in early 2010's.

A different Fallout experience for sure, but still a great one. The game has come a long way since the beginning. I started playing this on the PS4 when it came out and eventually transferred to PC, so I have well over 400 hours in this game.
What keeps me coming back is the community and the friends I made along the way. Sure, the story and quests are fun, but my beet Fallout 76 memories are finding other people's wild camps or just going nuts with friends doing stupid shenanigans. I haven't ran into a genuine ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ since 2019 - most of them are gone from the community so all that is left are cool people.
The perk cards are an interesting feature when it comes to building your character. No longer can you just pick up any gun and think you'll be able to melt enemies with it. You can have the best shotgun in the game, but if you are not built to be someone who uses shotguns with your perk cards, it won't do much damage. This forces you to not to be a jack of all trades unlike other Fallout games. You can always change around your perk cards, too, so you're never stuck as one type of build.
If you haven't tried the game by now and still hate on it because of how the game was at launch, that's on you. The game often goes on sale for $7, so grab it cheap if you're still on the fence. Grab some friends and start wandering around the wastelands for wacky adventures!

Tried this game when another jigsaw puzzle game was super disappointing - where all the pieces were the same and didn't snap into place :( Was super glad I did ebcause I love it.
The pieces in this are fun and different. They do have the "snap together" feature if you drag one piece to the correct connecting piece and place it close enough. There are options you can easily toggle on and off for your own puzzle preferences (have pieces rotate or not, how many per puzzle, where to do the puzzle
).
A great, free multiplayer game. I'd recommend at least one DLC so you have the option to upload your own pictures for puzzles and to access the Steam workshop, but if you have friends with DLC, they can always do that for you and then everyone can join their game.

What the actual beans did I just play.. or no, wait, experience?

I always like looking for strange, cheap games during a Steam sale. This was 100% strange and can't get any cheaper than free. I'm a little over an hour in whatever the hell this is, and there is still more secrets and things to explore. If you're into the old web aesthetic and want to have a good, silly time, try it out.

If you're streaming this to friends so share the experience, just be prepared to have your webcam accessed at some parts. So either cover it or make sure you're decent .

Your fun depends on others
Do I like this game? Eh. Sometimes. Depends on who you are playing with on your team and whoever is on the server.
Can you do this game solo? If you're determined, yes, otherwise friends are a requirement to use the bigger ships.
Some days are fun, just go on out, adventure, collect stuff, and hardly see anyone. Other times you cannot do anything as you are constantly being attacked by other players.
"BuT IT's a PiRAte GaME" Yeah, and?
Even Fallout 76 has private worlds. I rather pay for something like that for this game rather than a useless ship skin.

Bottom line, have you and your friends get it when it's on sale in case it's not your cup of tea.

Early Access Review
I tried to like this game since it had a lot of things I like - farming games, sim games, animals to take care of, building things... so bash them together for a farm sim? Heck yeah.
For me, the tutorial was very lacking. It shows you around town a bit, but then tells you to destroy your house and to have fun with the rest of the game with no further direction. Nothing about how to make more money, another house, or anything about taking care of animals. I refunded it.
Maybe in the future I'll come back to look at it again when it's on sale, just right now it was not fun to try and play. The character creation was a tad silly but fun (I made a shirtless Albert Wesker to run around my ranch haha). Other customization options were nice.

As a cat person, even I thought this was enjoyable and cute. So if you're a dog lover and enjoy relaxing, cute exploring games, give this one a shot.

And as everyone else said, yes, you can pet the dogs.

As others have said, it's hard to review without spoiling it. Played Pony Island? It's going to be a little like that.

It is... an experience. And that's putting it lightly.

It's one of those games that you will get the best out of if you go in blind. One that will never have that same thrill again once you replay it.

Is it worth replaying? Totally. The card game mechanics are fun. You can even make your own cards, buff them up, and so on.
Edit: Recently, Kaycee's Mod - a free mini-expansion, was released. If you're mostly into the card game and wish you could just play that part endlessly, the mod is all about that with additional cards and challenges. Now there is even more replay value!

It's not just about the card game, of course, there are little puzzles and a whole lot more.

It's worth the price. If you're on the fence, wait for a sale.

I don't know why exactly, but this is my go-to game at the moment when I want something fun and calming. Maybe it's because I started watching too much HGTV during the pandemic and was always the type of person that only liked building houses in The Sims. If you're the same, maybe you'll like it too.
The game has a few ways to play. There are jobs where you go in, clean, and do exactly what the customer wants. After saving up some money, you can jump into buying a house and doing what you want with it. Go as realistic as you want or have fun making the silliest spaces you can think of (especially with some of the Workshop items you can find).
My only complaints are that I wish there were more jobs to do (like more with new updates) as well as not being able to paint the ceilings (although I hear you can once the Pets DLC drops). I also wish you can have more than one save file - I'd love to have another chance to redo some houses I've already flipped without having to restart my whole game.
