Once upon a time, there was a studio that understood very well how to mix crazy, goofy stuff like Majima, as a character, with that dark feeling of a Yakuza Underworld Story.
I guess said Studio lost it's heart and decided to go all out on what feels like a very 'americanised', completely mediocre game that uses the costume of a character I love dearly.
Did not like Infinite Wealth. Do not like this recycle, whatever it is.
It's a shame this is the Majima Game we got, after yearning for a game with him as the MC again.
I was stupid to hope for something Dead-Soul-Ish.

I was already addicted to the first game and very positively surprised they managed to even improve with the second game. Now that it's out of EA, I started a new safe and I just can't stop collecting and exploring~

After playing it for the first time, I was really torn. After finishing the second Playthrough, I'm hooked, and I really enjoy the story, though my interpretation of it might be different from the majority.
I happily married the Fox Guy.
Yeah, sometimes I'm easy to please.
And yes, good for them that they added the casual mode.

This game was one third fun, one third boring grinding in a repetetive, uncreative dungeon and one third forced nostalgia and emotional drama that failed spectacularly to make me feel anything but annoyance.
As a long time fan of this series, I absolutely cannot recommend this game.
Taking into account the outrageous money hungry approach to DLCs makes it even worse.
I dearly hope that this series can come back from this failure...

I've waited for this game for so long and I can honestly say that it did not dissapoint me at all.
A truly wonderful game that captured an amazing atmosphere and entertained me for the whole 80+ hours I played.
The only thing I do not need is the Multiplayer, but since I do not need to play it, I couldn't care less about it.

I honestly do not understand how people can like this game.
The so called realism is only relevant if it f*** you up.
I cannot harvest leaves with my hands. I can break big stones into small stones but I cannot break a stick into two.
And, don't forget, you cannot take the key off the radio, even though it is right there, if you do not trigger a cutscene first where our hero hits the desk with his fist.
Nope.
Just nope.

Very excited for the full release!
I already enjoyed the EA immensly and couldn't stop playing at all.
It's definitely the right game for someone who couldn't get enough of Subnautica.

Edit after full release:
Still as amazed as I was before! The game has only gotten better so far and even though I think the last part of terraforming is a bit stretched, I can full-heartedly recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed Subnautica.

This game has a very touching main story, solid gameplay, interesting sidequests and extras and all in all I had a lot of fun.
The only thing is that there's so much to do, that it's easy to lose focus on the main story while running back and forth doing too many simple and repetitive errands. I think this game would have been perfect with a slightly smaller map and a little less stuff pushed in to stretch the playtime.
But It's absolutely worth playing!

Sadly not worth it's price.
It's a fun little game, yes. But even for the reduced price I felt that it's still too expensive for what I got.
So as long as there's not any more content I won't recommend it.
