Description

You are running an additional train on Thanksgiving Eve to help carry additional passengers. The train has just arrived in Philadelphia from Washington, and is enroute to New York Penn Station. You will end at Newark, where an electric locomotive will take over for the trip into New York City. You will be stopping at North Philadelphia, Cornwell Heights, Trenton, and Metropark before arriving in Newark. This is Amtrak's busiest day, so any problems on the line could cause our passengers to miss their Thanksgiving dinner.

Almost all AI traffic in this scenario is running according to Amtrak/SEPTA/NJT timetables.

The P42DC is most interesting on the Northeast Corridor. Every other train is either an AEM-7 or an Acela express. The locomotive bounces around so vigorously that it is sometimes hard to visualize the track signals. Thankfully, an onboard signaling device has been added to the engineer's console.
