very good scenario, thanks :train3:

The P42DC is most interesting on the Northeast Corridor. Every other train is either an AEM-7 or an Acela express. The locomotive bounces around so vigorously that it is sometimes hard to visualize the track signals. Thankfully, an onboard signaling device has been added to the engineer's console.

Thanks for your reply. I will try angain.

You should get a green signal after the Acela train passes. The wait for passengers should be longer than the signal

Got stuck in North Philly for a red signal, refusing to give permission to pass, even though I arrivied there in time.

Just to give notice:
I am currently working on revising this scenario to use an AEM-7 engine instead of the P42 that is currently used, since the P42 is no longer available on Steam (or anywhere). While I wish this could have just been a simple engine swap, unfortunately that is not the case. (Thank you RSC), and a few new "problems" have to be ironed out as well. In addition, I will be extending the run all the way to New York Penn Station and making a few other tweaks.

I will list the link once the scenario is completed and available oin the Steam Workshop. I will not be replacing this file that way if someone has the P42 content they can play this scenario.

Hey guys i have been lokking for the p42dc for months!!! Does anybody know where i can find one in phase-v colors?
dhartman30 28 Dec, 2012 @ 6:27am
ok, thanks. Will keep an eye open for it.
Ron  [author] 22 Dec, 2012 @ 5:28pm
Currently it is unavailable. According to the G-Trax website (who created the P42DC) it is to be available on Steam, so I would hope that this is a temporary issue.

Has the dlc for the amtrak p42dc been removed the downloadable content? I cant seem to find it. Was really wanting to try your route.

Great scenario. Close to real world.
Ron  [author] 27 Nov, 2012 @ 5:22pm
Thanks. I thought it would make a nice addition because it is something that could actually happen
dyrewraith 27 Nov, 2012 @ 12:50am
Great scenario Ron. I got caught off guard a bit about 1/4 way through the scenario. Won't say as I don't want to ruin the surprise during the run, a pleasant surprise. Thank you for sharing this scenario.

Finished without problems. Very good scenario.
Ron  [author] 21 Nov, 2012 @ 7:19am
The Acela train and the local service are two that are not set to actual timetables, because I really liked the idea of the "medium speed" train that leaves right before a fast train, stops, gets passed by the fast train, then has to switch to the fast track to pass a local train, and then switch back to make another stop. Most of the time invested in creating this scenario was to achieve this effect. If you are still having problems please let me know some more detail so I can try to recreate the problem and fix it for you to enjoy.
Ron  [author] 21 Nov, 2012 @ 7:13am
I just ran it to try to simulate your problem.Unfortunately, I was unable to recreate your issue. When you are stopped at North Philadelphia the Northbound Acela train that was next to you at 30th Street will pass you (aprox 17:11:11) while you are loading passengers. At aprox. 17:11:45 your signal will change to "Cab Speed" (top flashing green) when the Acela has cleared the fast track. Your passenger loading time is set long so you should be good to go once your passengers are loaded. You will proceed through Shore Jct, and a southbound Keystone service will pass. Signals will be green until you get an "Approach Limited" (top yellow, bottom flashing green) before you come on the local service. A southbound Regional train will pass you before you get to the local train, and you will receive a "Limited Clear" signal (top red, bottom flashing green). You will switch back to the local track at the interlocking and be good to go.

I really love the idea of this, But I seem to keep getting stuck after the first station where we pass onto the fast track, the signal stayed red and the due time for the next station passed
