This cube of wonder will cart you around like a drunken pregnant whale with up to four of your best buds in an eternal conquest to get more ores to build all those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ size 20+ CVs on the workshop! If you're gonna mine, DO IT IN STYLE.

Oh and it's got fridges, constructors, and all that other boring stuff.

Ship base is steel tho the windows are hardened so you'll need a little of that spiffy asteroid-ore. Guns guns guns! Ok five guns to be specific. To keep costs down and margins high... er... comes with 4 minigun turrets and 1 rocket turret. Mostly this keeps the unlock level down and keeps the power coil requirements to just the drill turrets. You can, at your leisure, remove those noob tubes and add in something heavier. Key word, you. The person reading this!

Sadly due to oxygen sealing restrictions and my overall laziness to not segment this off into some weird blob, there's no way to seal the ship up to be air tight. There is an oxygen station so you know, use that. Or don't. See if I care when you can't breath IN SPACE!


How to use: Fly to ores. Fire turrets. Get ores. No seriously, it's pretty easy. Use third person to center yourself over the ore deposit, switch the the drill turrets and go to town. Got friends? Bring em. There's four turrets and unless you're rainman you can't run all four at once. Aim the turrets DOWN at the GROUND and fire. Repeat until you have a giant hole. Try not to fall in. Not responsible for the idiot friend who digs all the ground out from beneath Mining Party. Fall in the hole? Send a picture and I promise I'll laugh and ridicule you for not heeding my warning. This is just another free service bundled with every Mining Party cube!

- OMG MY POWER DRAINS SO FAST!
Hey smarts, turn those drills off man! Drill turrets use power even when not running due to some higher wisdom at Eleon [read: bug] so when you aren't drilling, flip em off. There's even a group for that in your control panel! You can also turn off hover and thrusters if you're a real cheap-^H^H.... eco-warrior.

- Your guns suck! Why didn't you put death lasers on this?
Hello friend! Thank you for purchasing MINING PARTY. Death lasers are currently backorderd 1.528 light years and are slated to be added to MINING PARTY MK XCIX. You'll be notified by carrier pigeon when you can received your FREE UPGRADE KIT to death lasers. For now just make some plasma turrets or some ♥♥♥♥. I don't care.

- Why didn't you add <insert thing here> to the ship?
Uh, cuz it's my ship? Duh. When you make your own ship you can add whatever you want there Champ. Feel free to toss it in creative and have your way with it but we both know you just want it shaped more like a giant dong. It's ok. Channel your dong rage.

True. I did. Somewhat. Trig's Drillbarge was a <heavy> inspiration as was about half a bottle of bourbon *hick*

In all seriousness, enjoy the ship. It has limitations and I'll be frank, with the nerf to the drill turret range Eleon threw us, it doesn't work nearly as well as it would have prior. You can get pretty deep with it but you'll find it difficult to fully clear out nodes on Akua. The shallower/smaller nodes on other planets are no problem. Drills are mounted about as low as I could sanely put them and still have the ship able to fly semi-decently. I've toyed with the idea of putting conventional drills on this thing as well so you can ramp down into the hole but honestly at that point, just go use a drill HV. There's only like a billion to choose from tho I would recommend the ones by TRIG or McFLUFFY if you can't choose. Or get a ladybug because... its ugly as sin but the damn thing works.
