[Not updated since alpha 6 - super outdated. - not good for cpu, or mass/volume. Leaving up just because it was one of the first things I workshopped. It's a bit ugly, but was innovative for it's time, and inspired Skorpion Auger, and various other things. Feel free to modify / update / use it for inspiration or whatever. I do not recommend subscribing to this for current survival games.]


4 person drilling and refining hovercraft.
(Alpha 6+)

Hovercraft with 4 downward facing drill turrets, 6 mobile constructors, seating for 6 players, and lots of cargo space.
Armed with 3 minigun turrets for self defence.

Can be used as a mobile refinery and support for the more typical hover-drillers. Drill turrets are a bit slower to extract ore than a 6 drill hover driller, but are more precise and with 4 running together can be comparable in speed.

Added 4 harvesters along the front, since getting through tree and rock filled areas could be problematic.

4 armor lockers w/ cargo boxes
4 harvest boxes
4 fridges
oxygen station w/12 tanks
6 mobile constructors, color coded for ore type
3 interior cargo boxes, 8 2x1 exterior cargo boxes
9 fuel tanks, external acess to fill them
4 passenger drilling seats
2 pilot seats
4 ammo boxes, external access

Drilling area is well lit with a spotlight and 4 lights, can be adjusted in intensity as needed. Interior area has a roof shutter for launching player drone, useful if drills don't reach the bottom of an ore deposit. "Piping" going to each drill, 1 pipe for power and 1 for extracting ore (just for looks). Wide spaced hover engines make it unlikely for it to fall into a hole. Fits through a 7x5 or larger hanger door.
All blocks are standard steel, this is not meant for combat. If using in an area with high prescense of tougher drones, you may wish to upgrade the turrets to something stronger. If using in an area with collision damage, upgrading the front blocks to hardened may be a good idea.
