Description
POLARIS SPACE INDUSTRIES UMS mining ship

Your ultimate mining solution for all mining operations! UMS is cheap and lightweight warp capabable frame that is perfect for all kinds of mining missions.

Main 'weapons' consists of four mining turrets mounted on the front for easy use. In addition to that, UMS can be docked with special kind of HV mining turret, for operations on the planetside. In addition to that - open back hangar can hold a mining HV - for example PSI 'Rhino'.

Small landing pad on top for utility/scout SV's.

Any chance of this one being revisited? I've run across an issue with no O2 available in the main cabin...also don't know how to activate the mining turrets. The O2 issue may be due to the type of doors not sealing...but I dunno

Hey rainy, I have a heavily modified version of this awesome build was wondering if you mind if I upload it? Of course I'll link back to this, where the original is a great starter mine is a later game beefed up model.

@theodgmingo Great to hear! :) I build ships for my own use - but it's awesome when other people find use for them too. Would be interesting to know the changes.

hi rainy, i just wanted to drop you a line about your ship. i have over a thousand hours on this game. most spent doing what i enjoy the most, building ships. i dont publish them because im selfish, and dont want people tinkering with them. lol im playing with a fairly large faction atm , and have been tasked with mineral acquisition. im using your ship for that . i have made a few changes, but not because of design flaws, but rather , to better fit the way i operate it. well done ! ive only ever said that to one other person, (mr icecat ) his hulls are brilliant, but he shouldent be allowed to own a color and contouring tool . i will explain the changes , and why if wish.

for some reason when i clicked on it i just read it as "PSI Ultimate Mining Solution" didnt even think what UMS stood for just read it, weird.
