@test the reason why is cause the mod was originally made for the OG version of Crashday, which would crash to desktop after going over 49 cars, and this mod just so happened to fill that entire quota to the point the mod creator had to replace the vanilla cars. Also, the full mod was not just car packs, but instead a full Mad Max themed total conversion, so squeaky clean cars from the vanilla game showing up in Career Mode would clash.

At least back then when you had to manually install the mods, you could fiddle around and have backups. Maybe create a copy of the vanilla car folders so they also show up or rename the folders of the Deathday cars themselves?

TL;DR Deathday was a total conversion mod, Crashday used to have a 49 car hard cap and the TC filled the entire roster replacing the vanilla to fit a post-apoc theme
