[WOTC] Unified Gremlin and Bit Movement Speed

Description
When Xcom 2 first released Gremlins always moved at the same speed, in the current version of the game, Gremlins move at twice the speed when performing actions in which they move independently from their specialist such as, Aid Protocol, Medical Protocol, Haywire Protocol, Restoration and general hacking, this mod removes that speed multiplier and makes the Gremlins move at one unified speed, resulting in less jerky and stupid looking movements, Spark Bits are also impacted

Features~

-Smoother Movements Overall

-Camera Stutters Less When Following Gremlins

-All Gremlin types are impacted

-All Spark Bits are Impacted

-Rover is impacted

-TLP Gremlins Impacted

Compatibility~

no class overrides, should work with most mods

This Mod is basically identical to the old version, I just made a new version to get rid of the warning

No of course not?

oh for sure the camera in X2 is the most obnoxious change Firaxis made from Enemy Within

I've seen a few of your mods and you seem to be the resident "cinematic gameplay" expert, so I can see where you're coming from :)

And part of my motivation in chasing all these speed up mods is to get rid of zip mode, actually. Just like the thing this mod removes, it's arbitrary and only removes like 10% of the problem, leaving the most annoying stuff intact.

The worst offender for me is the "camera hijacking". "Ooh let's look at this extremely interesting group of generic Troopers for 5 seconds." Let me play, dammit.

Sorry, I'm ranting.

I getcha, just personally all the speed up features such as ZIp and mods such as what we are talking about are the opposite of visual consistency but that's just me

Hmm... The main draw of this mod for me was the idea of visual consistency, but I see your point now. Still, if I'm going to tweak the numbers individually with Musashi's mod, I'd rather start from a standard baseline, without another catch-all multiplier thrown in.

I just wanted to learn if the two mods would conflict mechanically, and it seems they won't :)
Thanks for the response, in any case.

This mod makes them move slower so I fail to see why you’d want to use them with a mod that explicitly sacrifices presentation in favor of speed they are antithetical
Nemo Jr. 3 Jul, 2021 @ 7:09am
To answer my own question: I should probably use both mods.

This one specifically changes something called SoloMoveSpeedModifier to 1.
Musashi's mod seems to change the base speed of ability animations.

Would be nice to get confirmation from someone else, though.

Anyone here using Musashi's Still Stop Wasting My Time ?
I'm wondering if they'd play nice with each other... Or perhaps I won't need this one?

@Vortex ♀ Pixalation That person is translating some mod descriptions and posting them in comments, for some reason
