EWR-115 "Reaper" Voice Pack

Description
Disclaimer: arm-mounted gatling gun not included.
Actual Disclaimer: compiled in WotC modding suite - may not work in vanilla.

What better to have on your squad than a slightly-murderous, slightly-sassy rogue killbot with over 645,624 self-issued core file revisions?

Voice pack available for SPARK units and RealityMachina's Buildable Geth Redux. BGR shouldn't be required, but I make no promises the thing won't throw a fit. See discussions for a guide on how to remove BGR support if it is a problem.

Uses a mix of voiced lines from Black Ops 3 where appropriate (~280 lines), and generic 'robot noises', also from Black Ops 3, for other actions.

Originally intended to support E3245's EWR115 mod, which has now been updated to War of the Chosen. It is marked as a Required mod, so you can't miss it!

It's not mandatory, no, but the voice is only available on SPARK troopers if you don't have either of the supported mods (RM's Geth/the EWR).

Is that mod a genuine requirement or can you sub to this voice pack without subbing to that?

Heads up folks; E3245 has updated his EWR115 mod .

I think I know how to make it so the voices won't be assigned automatically (so that you don't get random freshmeat sounding like robots), so I might look into setting that up. Need to doublecheck.

In the meantime, someone made a thread on /r/xcom2mods here with some (rough) instructions on how to do it yourself.

Hello would it be possible to make it compatible with the class of the game vanilla (ranger, sniper ...)?
Killian  [author] 17 Sep, 2017 @ 5:42am
Odd. Give it a moment before hitting Preview again- sometimes it takes a moment to load custom voicepack audio properly.

I can't imagine why it wouldn't be backwards compatible but SDKs are weird. :conwayshrug:

Just tried it out, it shows up in the list for my sparks, but it doesn't play any audio.

Well it complains at me sure. I just figured it needed to be separate since everyone is uploading a second version of all their old voice mods. I figured something fundamental changed in the code that they wouldn't be cross-compatible. I'll go test it out right now.

It should work OK without WotC unless Steam is telling you that you can't use it at all without the DLC?

I think I'd have to redownload the vanilla SDK in order to republish as a non-WotC mod, which would take... quite a while.
