Description
TyNAn: "I liked all those other sandbox games, you know with the, the straight lines 'n all?"

you: "well you could also not have straight lines, you know"

tyNaN: "Inconceivable!"

Allows building walls in any line, as opposed to clamping to horizontal and vertical lines as it does in vanilla.

OH! Worth mentioning, it doesn't just work on walls, per se. It works with anything that was previously clamped to vertical / horizontal lines.

Makes it quite useful for complicated base builds, or just life.

REQUIRES XnopeCore !! Sorry to throw a requirement at you, but I've got other mods on the way and they all use these common functions.

Can you do the same for floors ? I would really like to make an efficient non straight path easily.

The Game just freezes, no hud, no ingame element, nothing... i have to alt+f4 and wait a bit (2min or so). The bug start if i try to build a wall in a diagonal, just drag it and then, bug!

Mind an error log, crash dump, and/or any sort of mod list? I've got quite a big modlist myself, curious to see discrepencies and get that fixed for ya

yeah.. don't know what happened, but with this mod every time I draw a diagonal, all my HUD vanishes, and the game freezes (not the music though)... I have quite a few mods (easily 50+) installed, so maybe its an incompatibility with one of them. :steamsad:

Circles would be nice, especially when creating growing zones or stockpiles. You should implement the same stuff with the mining tool.

Thanks guys! These are great ideas, I've been working on other things thinking that this mod was done but clearly there is always more that can be done. If I find the time I will work on one or both of these ideas :)

Also, I was thinking about holding down ctrl to make circles. I have the algorithm for it already. Thoughts?
