I was overjoyed to find a functioning portals mod on the workshop, but let down that it was using placeholder models and had a couple bugs in it. I decided to fix that

I was also overjoyed to find a companion cube mod on the workshop. This, too disappointed me. The mesh pointed to a dropbox link and the texture pointed to a deviantart link, both of which were 404. I decided to fix that as well.

All meshes and textures are now in the steam cloud so they should last Forever™ and I encourage anybody who believes they can do a better job to please do so. Make a 3.0 or even a 2.5 version, keep the ball rolling. Modding and sharing and working together is what keeps old games alive and brings new laughs and experiences for years to come.

The code that makes the portals work is 99.9% all reimu, and you can find his original work here.
All I did was point a GUID to a new model and make them ignore each other. I think I know how to fix the table-eating bug as well, but I need to get in touch with reimu to find out how he did a certain part first. The table eating bug is fixed! Not only fixed but now you can brace the portals against locked objects without the portals trying to eat them. Great big thanks to Fyrinlight for helping me on that one.

As for the cubes, those were some creative commons models and textures made by KaliNoob / Kuro. He/She's got other assets free to the public so long as you attribute accordingly, you can find their work here.[sketchfab.com]

Known bugs: if the portals themselves are locked they sometimes won't function correctly. I recommend using the physics tab of the right click menu and giving them a very high mass and drag, that should work reasonably well.

Never mind i figured it out. Just increase Mass. Great Portal!

This one works good with jointed objects. How do i slow down the speed from the exit portal?

I'm toying around with this.. but if you used a simple if object.getObejctfromGUID() ~= "" then.... it makes it so any code run doesn't apply to tables.... since the standard Table doesn't get assigned a GUID... just a thought.
