Description
Blessings of the Elders AI Pack is a complete rework of the base game AI. The goal of the mod is to make enemies as smart as possible and to provide extra challenge to players who find the base game AI too simple. This pack covers the entire Alien troops.

-= UNIT CHANGE LIST =-
- Sectoid
- Viper (Includes Neonates from DLC)
- Muton
- Codex
- Berserker
- Archon
- Spectre
- Andromedon
- Chryssalid (Including TLP Neonates)
- Gatekeeper
- Faceless
- Avatar
- Shadowbound Units

-= SPECIAL CHANGES AND ADDITIONS =-
- The Gatekeeper and the Andromedon are now allowed to retreat back to other pods.
- The Andromedon and Muton can now move after using their melee attack, just like the Templar.
- Sectoid can use Psi Zombies without ending the turn.
- Viper Tongue now has a small cooldown to prevent spamming.
- Archons can now double move and hit with a melee strike.
- Chryssalids are now immune to acid.
- Chryssalids no longer burrow. Includes Neonates from TLP.
- Gatekeepers will no longer drain their own allies.
- Codices can only teleport every other round and will be forced to at least move once between teleports using regular movement.
- The Gatekeeper now has 3 AP like a Sectopod.
- If you have a mod that gives the ability to Frostbreath to Neonates, they will use it now (very rarely i assure you, just for flavor)
- Berserker can no longer run and melee, however her melee attack no longer ends the turn if used as the first action so stay away.

-= REQUIREMENTS =-
While technically not required, it goes hand in hand with ADVENT Future and Wrath of the Chosen.
The other requirements are real requirements, they are expected or units could act weird.

-= COMPATIBILITY =-
This is a complete AI retool. Any mod that contains AI should be tested in RedScreen mode before use to check for incompatibilities. In case of doubt, ask me to playtest your mod and i'll check if it works correctly.

The AI in this pack will not extend to enemies that use their own dedicated AI from other mods. Your new enemies are only be as smart as the creator of the mod made them (which may be more or less than mine, your mileage may vary).

Not compatible with A Better Advent AI, pick one or the other packs but not both.

Alrighty thank you! I'll have to stick with ABA because of the new enemies. But keep up the amazing work on this mod and all of your others. I love the work you put into all your mods

That mod contains AI, do not use this one if you use the other one. You can alternatively use this mod also, but you need to go to the Chryssalid section and delete all lines pertaining to Chryssalids in my mod then it would probably work.

I also use ABA but I am not sure if that mod makes changes to chyrssalids or not

All AI packs are optional, they only link to each other for reference. They are not strictly required.

It seems this "extra explicit" warning was removed from the mod's description. I wonder why.
