S.S.V. Elypsis

Description
By:Caideenah; Kaelym; Siamk0

This S.S.V NX-Class Battle-Cruiser is named after the world she was built on. Almost Every room features at least one interactive switch of some sort. She consists of four decks, Docking, Bridge level, Quarters level, and escape level.

Starting with the Docking Level; this floor boasts a beautiful teleport setup made by Caideenah. This room has 3 special gadgets that will do something, one is the teleporter console which turns on the teleporter lights and has "Teleporting..." in white over the console. Next in this room are two switches that leads to the engineering catwalks, one is filled with delay switches, and gates so it is unmaneuverable. The other we consider the Elypsis easter egg, where we normally stored our processors, furnaces, chests, and bundles while building this beauty.

Next on this level (moving towards the front of the ship) is the weapons locker. This is one of the ONLY (the other being the cadet quarters and engine room) rooms to not have something interactive inside of it, however due to the Cadet quarters not having their own space to store equipment, we built this room in a small amount of space that was originally unplanned. It however boasts lots of weapon storage [you may have to place your own or blueprint what is available] and a fair amount of Item Storage.

Moving towards the back past the teleporter room, you will see the docking bay where all of our minor fleet ships/scuttles etc. will be parked. These smaller ships were all designed by Siamko, are absolutely stunning, and all the chairs are a Trap! [insert akbar voice] No seriously, it's a trap, you will get stuck in the chairs. I do believe they all have their own blueprint on his personal workshop page which is: [ https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/siamko/myworkshopfiles/?appid=280790 ] In this room to the left of the door you come in the bay through, are two consoles that control two chase light sets. Directly in front of the center LED is a trapdoor leading down to the Mariah.

Down the small ladder first thing you will see if a galactic window with a GREAT view, and a small walk path to view the world from the dorsel fin of this Spacecraft, This dorsel fin was also, engineered by the brilliant mind of Siamk0, but was modified by myself (Kaelym) when he inevitably had to leave before contest was over for a while. At the bottom of this fin is a bridge that retracts [in our minds] which allows you to climb down into the mariah and close the hatch behind you, the top floor seat with the great view? That's also a trap, but the downstairs is safe! This small aircraft, also done by Siamko boasts a Unique usage of trapdoors under the sleep pods for escape pods and lots of buttons to push. However, the only button on this beauty that works is the captains switch, which turns the docking lights on the bottom of the Elypsis on and gives your pilot the visability s/he needs to attach to the mothership.

Moving on up and back, to the very back room is our Engine room. This room is what connects three of the four decks and is relatively straight forward. Lots of bellows and gears, some pretty glass to protect you from exploding engines (not really, if they explode there will be a hull breech...) and some ladders for maintenence.

Going on up to Deck Two, first thing you see through the door is our lovely warp core [ https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1165111139 ], this lovely device was put together by our ship engineer Caideenah. All consoles around the Warp Core control lights and movement within the core itself. To the right will be a small Plant science room, which has a switch to turn the lights on. To the left is a small simulation of a small Twin-star System with one habitable planet [ https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1165111228 ] with a 'Scanning...' Console looking for a great place for the Cosmo Chizzards to live. Directly behind the Warp Core are two replicators with service doors [revert to warp core image, they are in background] (because those machines were never very reliable...) and two containment chambers for our labrats and ghost chizzards waiting for new bodies to be replicated for their conciousness to be downloaded into... They also miraculously disappear when you get to close to them and are not of the same race.

On either side of this room is a double door to the Airlock, this wiring nightmare (by Caideenah) [ https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/874120805753128207/1BDD689F7107BD1363651266C056328E2651A7F0/ ] gives you instructions how to go to the outside ring, which has more shiny gears and whistles but mostly just lets you wander lost in circles trying to figure out how to get out. Not to mention more maintenence doors for the Role-playing experience. This beauty of a machine takes a few minutes to process all that radiation the warp engines in the ring produce, so give it a bit of time and follow the instructions before the airlock to make it a smooth trip in and out of the ring!

Next room is our Marvelous Canteena, [ https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/874120627299538735/1F2FA573F5DC6F0E3CA37EFD5C29A92C148B2D3E/ ] These Chizzards really know how to party! There is a switch on Quark the Thing's counter which allows you to turn on the party lights, beware the switch behind the counter though at the running faucet... that's Quarks heat and you'll burn his pies!
[Disclaimer: Chizzard's and Thing not included, this is a BYOC&T establishment.(Bring your own chizzard and thing)]

Absolute front room is the bridge; https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/860608952282619172/00DC4BE5395CF07EDF7048D3A2E5F6FE75A5BBF4/ There are more Gadgets than any other room here. Starting with the left back: Science Station, these two switches turn on lifeform detection... Is that a fellow crew mate playing in your Canteena? Or have the Pigsies boarded and now trying to take over your ship?! At this same station, you can click the Console to turn on the pretty dark blue auxilary power lights. Next station, Left front: This enables your sublight engine, which turns the bellows in your engine room on. The switch in between and on top of the consoles, in between gives Warp drive. This gives you Classy white trace lights throughout the bridge and enables the lighting around the ring/narcells to let everyone know your ship is ready to take off into orbit! The bottom switch gives you a Shields 100% pop up, I don't think any leafi's want to shake a stick at this ship to try to do any damage! The next console is your Weapons Station, this enables all beacons attacked to the S.S.V. Elypsis to begin firing at your target, this is probably why the Leafi's are afraid of shaking sticks to close. Mid room is the captains chair, this will put a shiny badge over you head stating you're the acting captain! Last station is the red alert, this sets off red lamps throughout all levels (no sound sadly) letting you know you need to leave post-haste! Also at this station.. a strange number pad... Just remember to dial 911 after (wont spoil this one).

Third deck,(running out of space... oh no!) the Med-bay is positioned here, inside you can click the consoles on the ceiling to turn on the oxygen, and turn on a purple light for life support in each medical room. The quarters are customized by the players who owned them, 'cept Siamko, he slacked -picks- at most they have light switches. Cadet quarters is where the starship explorers in training rest, they can store their stuff on the bottom level.

Lastly is a Diamond glass pillar, with a ladder in it. This is the escape pod level. It has the hydroponics lab, which has two switches for humidifiers and lights and the hallway before it your cryo-stasis pods. (out of text space)

WeylinG1472 - As stated before, we do not, and will not, be returning to Creativerse. This ship was created over 2 years ago. I'm sure its quite broken now. If we still played, I'd fix it. But the devs were toxic when we played, and I will not endorse this game any further. I'm sorry.

Thank you for the steam badge on our collective work. It is hard to believe that it was 2 1/2 years ago that we posted this. I am glad we were able to be a part of an amazing game back before all the changes. I wish we could have left on a happier note, but at least you all have enjoyed the build. Thank you again for this badge. It may seem like such a small thing to some, but it really means a lot to us. <3

Redjaguar82 - I really do not remember. I think so? Most everything in 2018 only took up one block.I haven't played this game since that contest. Political reasons our team could not agree with. :/ If I ever return to the game (not likely) I will see if I can figure out a work around. Thanks so much for using our design! I am glad you enjoyed it. Here's hoping you can make improvements. <3

The current version released with the midieval extras cannot finish the blueprint. In the medical bay the square where it says to place the "processor" says the processor doesn't match the block in blueprint. If I override then I can't place the place mat since the processor takes two squares (where it is placed and the next one above it). I have tried placing it from different angles but that doesn't work. The only thing I can think to do is to rotate the processor on it's side after being placed. Did the processor only take up a single square in 2017/2018?

Looks like an Astero from Eve Online to me. Good job

Awe thanks. Little disappointed that this one and a few others got beaten in the contest. Nothing can do about it though. We still got a lot of likes, and made a lot of friends.
