Description
The goal of this mod is simple. Balance the game economy! Basically, it's my attempt at balancing the game's economy and how things tend to get a bit ♥♥♥♥♥ with pricing of items.

It 'tries' to balance the economy by modifying the price ranges of many items depending on your level. The way the game currently does it is when you hit Level X, Average Prices go up by X amount and it does this 4 times.

This mod decreases those sudden price leaps for the first two jumps and tries to make it seem more within realistic standards the last two jumps, this way, you end up getting more worth of selling your items and a more balanced selling and buying process without having too much or too little.

Outside of this being requested, I personally also found it so horrible to end up late game with a "TON" of gold and nothing to spend it on or not getting rid of it all if I DID desire to spend it.

So here we are. In as much detail as I can explain without confusing people.

Bartering now has slightly more effect in general.
Items are now worth slgihtly more and sell for slightly more.
Persuasion Discount Bonuses are slightly higher.

Items sell cheaper until Level 8 which then brings it to a slightly higher version of the current games economy as you would see in Act 2.

Items costs more and sell for more when you hit Level 13, average prices go up by about 1.5x the current amount.

Items bolster their prices and sell prices even further when you hit Level 16, average prices increasing by about 2.3x the current amount.

These values are mostly all less than the original game, actually, which I hope will lead to a more balanced economy.

This mod SHOULD work with new AND existing saves. However, outside of the minor bartering changes, the price shifts won't occur until one character you have hits the next price shift milestone. This means this mod is effectively WORTHLESS for game saves with a player character at Level 16+ as for it won't give much impactful meaning.

Of course, there's always other options...

This mod is also on the Nexus!~ https://www.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin2/mods/157/?

Yeah, I've been noticing some issues here and there with the prices and such, @SirDancelot .

I'll go about fixing them. Since the goal was to give items late-game during Acts 3 and 4 so that the player wouldn't end up with tons of gold to use and relying on thievery all the time.

I'll work right on it!~ :vanilla:

oops: € should be %

Seems broken. First it gave me enormous discounts. Then i hit LVL 11 and Barter now gives less than 2% per point and 100 attitude gives 9% discount. Tried moving it to the front of mod list, to the back and even disabling all other mods. Still the same effect. With the mod disabled i get 4% discount per barter point and 20€ discount with 100 attitude...

Yeah this needed to be done. Part of my rebalance, takes this, plus it reviews most non-armor/weapons prices, many things are whacked pricing. Trying to make things where everything is a product you would consider buying vs hell no I'm not ever paying that for that.

@Moon Fairy Kyra Thank you so much, I think I'll use this, I'm fairly bothered with how things scale in general with this game.

@venithien There you go! I added a description. I didn't know how to precisely explain it so I held off on it for then, but I've got it now!~

Needs more of a description, I'd like to know how it's balancing the economy before I put it in my game
