Description
Current supported version: 2.1.0

Current mod version: 1.0.2

FIXED FOR 2.0, be careful with mods that modify galaxy generation as they can cause infinite loading screens.
Also due to the 2.0 hyperlane algorithm, load times are absolutely rediculous. Ironic since I personally played with hyperlanes-only pre-2.0 and load times were fine.

Inspired by Epic Galaxies, but since that was crashing for me I made this which is coded from scratch.
A small mod that adds 6 new sizes of galaxy:

Massive: 2000 stars
Supermassive: 3000 stars
Gigantic: 5000 stars
Gargantiune: 6500 stars
Titanic: 8000 stars [Current Maximum | Load Time: 30:30] <-- You will barely load this (Yes, it took me 30 MINUTES to load)
All Matter: 10,000 stars [CURRENTLY BROKEN]
BONUS: Zooming in galaxy view allows you to have more ranges, so you can get that perfect view in a dense galaxy!

If you want to make sure every star has a name, then you'll need a mod to add some more: Expanded System Names

Recommend use with my Balancing Collection if you plan on using some of the bigger sizes.

Known Bugs:
-Sometimes crashes on galaxies above 4000 stars, not for everyone oddly enough.
-Empire generation is a bit weird at times, not spacing things out properly.
-If an empire spawns on the edge of the galaxy the border on the edge will have a graphical glitch.

can you please update your nice mod?

Awesome mod, sadly I have to report that my game slowly became next to unplayable already after some 100-150 years only, even with "only" 2000 star galaxy with max number of AIs. Horrible lags every single day.
But from reading some threads it's simply a basegame coding issue, it just arrives a lot sooner with larger galaxies :-(, shame on Paradox!! Their other games are so much better optimised...

It depends entirely on your system config. Also since Stellaris can only use a single CPU core, people with weak CPU's will be more likely to crash from errors

@y4wgmoth This one hasn't crashed for me yet, and I too am not sure why others seem to crash more. In theory they should all be the same but apparently they aren't.

Kind of confused why one galaxy generating mod would crash more than another if you are using the same size galaxy with the same number of stars.

But if this is true, does this particular mod crash less? I have a very high end gaming PC yet still got crashes using a different galaxy mod playing at 5k stars with about 35 AI empires (only 1 was a fallen empire). I was using an elliptical shaped galaxy if that changes anything.

i don't have that mod i think it's a ram issue

"Some stars are missing names..." Oh, right, it says there's a mod to fix that. Too bad it's not retroactive... either way, I like having larger galaxies because it makes for more civilizations. Because Fermi can go screw himself.
